This app is extraordinarily complex in data migration. The customer support I received from Renars was exceptional and he went out of his way to solve some issues we were having to migrate some and make one system speak much better with shopify so to say. Perhaps some more edited templates for migrations from exports with low detail would be helpful for new clients.
You are absolutely right - the app has so many capabilities for working with data and performing data migrations, that it might be a bit overwhelming at the beginning. We are working every day to improve the materials on our website to help with this learning process - to take you up to the level as soon as possible.
About the templates you suggested, we will think of ways to help with some more simplified sample templates, but it's challenging because there are so many different scenarios.
At the same time, it's totally understandable that those tutorials and documentation itself can be much to navigate.
But that's why we are here - with our Support team and everyone else behind their backs - to help you in any of your individual cases.
So - if you ever feel you prefer a human on the other end, our Support team is here for you. Please believe our true heart intentions to provide you with whatever you need to accomplish your work with data.

Been using excelify since our launch and wouldn't know what to do without it. This is a must have in your toolkit! Great and fast support but you don't even need it since the documentation is very clear and simple.

We use this app regularly (for at least two years running) in the management of our Shopify store...this is the Gold Standard in terms of advanced (and simplified) data importing and exporting above and beyond the packaged offering from Shopify. This app is a must have if you have the need to access any type of data of your store. This is the swiss-army-knife for shopify. I use it to manually and automatically export data to analyze it in other tools but also to bulk import or update hundreds of products per month. Ngl, I could not run my business without this app. If you get behind the learning courve and understand the data model of the shopify entities this app will not dissapoint you. And the support is fantastic, they are absolutely killing it.

An essential app for Shopify. We've used it daily for over 2 years.
So easy to use and very powerful.
It's better to use one of the (fairly affordable) pricing plans however having a free option is a great way to test it first.
I wish the documentation was more extensive as I'm sure there is more it can do for us, like setting the default options for imports.

As for the documentation - we have quite an extensive documentation about each tiny aspect of the app on our website https://matrixify.app. That also includes hundreds of tutorials of what you can do with it.
About setting the default options for imports - that's an interesting suggestion, as you cannot do that at the moment. We will write you from our Support some additional clarifying questions to see how can we solve it for you.
If you are missing another specific explanation, please, tell our Support as well, we will be happy to document that.

I love the wide range of functionality that Matrixify offers. I can import and export virtually anything to and from Shopify. Where Shopify cannot import/export data, Matrixify fills the gaps. Highly recommend.
