5 stars because of the excellent support! The app works very well and does its job. I had troubles with importing the customers VAT to our invoice system, but Exemptify Support respondend fast and helped with all issues!
Been using this app for a while now and despite a few hiccups in my configurations its now working great! We had a small issue at the cart page recently due to a recent shopify update and the support team replied to my query within 10 minutes and within 30 minutes they connected as a collaborator and the issue was resolved, excellent support service thank you.
The app is bugged, and does not work.
Merchant had Exemptify installed for months, then angrily contacted us to complain it doesn't work, but provided no details of what exactly is not working or how we can help.
After asking for details of what exactly is not working, we received this response:
"I hired a devoloper. Who said it was configured but the thing does not work. "
A further attempt to try to finally get some answers was left unanswered, instead the merchant decided to leave this review a few weeks later - still without any useful information at all.
I used Exemptify to help me display prices on my e-shop with VAT included as most of the customers come from EU but still be able to exclude VAT for the ones coming from non-EU countries. I was absolutely amazed by the help of Thorsten from Exemptify who went beyond a standard customer service and helped me to fix all needed settings to make everything work the way I needed. We exchanged a large number of emails during one evening and all was quickly done. I would definitely recommend the app not only due to the very good functionality but also due to this nice consumer experience! Thanks a lot again!
Hi! The App works fine at the Shop but how can I connect Products to facebook Shop by showing the Price incl. the Tax? Thanks for help!
This app is great. We ship internationally and it helps being able to remove VAT for those customers. The service was great and they helped us set this up very easily.
We have used Exemptify since migrating to Shopify & it has been great for our needs. Recently, we had an issue caused by coding added by a developer so I contacted the app developer for help. Thorsten was so helpful, responded very quickly & resolved the issue for us.
This app works just fine and exactly for the purposes described. You have to be careful though if you are handling products with different VATs inside one country (eg. VAT in Germany: 19% normal; 7% deducted) which does not work with that app solution....
