This channel never connects properly to show the measurement of visitors to my products, add to carts, or purchases. I think 2023 was the last time. I don't know why I keep this channel other than it's a Shopify direct channel. Once FB opened marketplace and blocked our products it's been pretty useless having shops.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Meta has disabled my personal account along with all of my connected business accounts, cutting off access to over 10 years of business data, communications, and customer connections.
There is no functional support system available. Every support pathway requires logging in, yet login is blocked — including attempts to access support through the Shopify integration. This creates a closed loop with no way to reach a human or submit an appeal.
An automated AI system has made a serious and damaging error, and there is no accessible process to correct it.
This lack of accountability and human support is unacceptable, especially for businesses that depend on these platforms for daily operations.

I am unable to connect Facebook & Instagram app to my Shopify store. I have tried it several times for over a week, but it is repeatedly showing an error message. I am being billed monthly, but I am unable to use the sales channel to sell products. it's so disappointing and discouraging!! The support is equally pathetic. I have no idea what the issue is because nothing is being pointed out, except that an error occurred.
Solid integration with very few settings to worry about. However, I didn't like how it displayed my variant images in the ads. I found a fix by using the CustomPix Shopify app. It uses a supplemental feed to update the photos without changing my store
Could not enable data sharing in the app. Shopify support kept pushing me to Facebook support, and Facebook support pushed me to Shopify support. Quite literally going in circles.
If enabling data sharing fails once, just add a custom pixel. They're just not very good at this.
Very pathetic experience with the app and meta in general, catalogue mismatch is such a common issue but developers never fix it. When you speak with their team they ask yu to custom change the code. Now what is the point of paying meta and Shopify if one was going to dive into custom coding. Sadly these big fish are out of reach of commoners like us but they do cost us a lot
Facebook & Instagram integration is very useful for selling and running ads once everything is properly connected. However, the setup process can be difficult and time-consuming, especially when reconnecting existing business assets. Clearer instructions and better in-app troubleshooting would help merchants avoid unnecessary confusion.
No support, lack of care and completely automated ignore system when problems occur. Each and every response from them is a "thank you for waiting"

Many configurations that don't get connected by default, and impossible to troubleshoot. The Chat service is a joke. They never respond, and the chat service disconnects while you're waiting sometimes hours to get someone.
To make it worse, they're happy to take your money for ad campaigns even when the app is not configured correctly, resulting in just a loss of funds with no benefit.
