Running our online store on Shopify using the Facebook and Instagram App has been a game-changer. It is user-friendly, reliable, and packed with features that make managing an e-commerce business seamless.

This app performs well overall, with a beautiful interface and practical functions, but there is still room for improvement in details and performance. If the above problems can be solved, the user experience will be better. But I hope the developer can continue to optimize and bring a better user experience.
This app helps to simplify staying on top of your Meta Ads, which products are synced, and which are having problems. I do with it provided more specific information when it tells me "something is wrong."
Facebook & Instagram make it difficult to find my store as I can't connect it to my Facebook account that has all my friends, but had to start a "page" for my shop then not only do I have to grow my facebook account, but I then have to hope that all my friends will like my "page" and decide to follow that too so I have two Facebook accounts to manage instead of just one. My shop is completely invisible on Instagram, not searchable, not findable. I feel like this shopify app is a complete waste of money, not a single sale or view has come from this app.
Completely inefficient and syncing process has been infuriatingly difficult. Also, the meta support caused my store deactivation and then attempting to reactivate, connected it to the incorrect Facebook business profile, therefore blocking it from being accessible on instagram. There is no real time communication, lots of emails and then no ability to respond. I have taken all the steps necessary and I feel your support team caused this chaos and now there is no one to actually communicate about it with. Very dissatisfied.
2/14/25 - I am using this with a supplementary feed. I am showing product price in the images i am generating for the supplementary feed. The images update every time the product price changes. This Meta app is NOT keeping the items in sync on an hourly basis like it should. Meta support is obscenely slow and behind the times with their capabilities. Shopify customers deserve better customization and support.
2/26/25 - after being passed from one meta support person to the next, they finally got me over to their commerce manager team. I did a screen recording and gave them examples of products that were out of sync and they kept addressing the individual examples i gave them and not the root problem. After calling them out on this, they simply replied asking for another product example. They are completely incompetent. I am replacing this feed with something else. Meta support is pathetic.
I find the Meta Business Manager to be quite complicated, so I appreciate that this app makes it easier to set up a shop on Facebook and Instagram.
However, I would like to see the app offer an option for creating Shopping Campaigns in just a few simple steps.
Additionally, I suggest that the app also includes WhatsApp integration. I’ve been trying to install WhatsApp on my own through Meta Business Manager, but I keep getting error messages. It’s messy and confusing.
It is crAPP! They need to include debugging tools into their shopify app connection to give better information about what is not allowing catalogs, meta accounts, and other linkages that are necessary to facilitate creating a working store! They don't want you to use your Shopify account, Meta wants you to use their product catalog and derive it all from them. I and many others have been unable to connect our stores for years! With an "S".
Managing my apparel brand shop on Facebook and Instagram has been a frustrating journey, to say the least. For the past four years, I've faced constant challenges connecting to the shop and maintaining its functionality.
One of the biggest hurdles has been resetting my Facebook password for the shop account. No matter how many attempts I make, I never seem to get it resolved. The lack of a clear or straightforward solution has made it feel like an ongoing hassle, with issues cropping up time and time again.
These technical difficulties have taken away valuable time I could be spending on growing my business, connecting with customers, and creating new products. I’m still looking for a lasting solution but have yet to find one that sticks.
If anyone has successfully navigated these issues or knows the best approach to resolving them, I’d love to hear your advice!
Terrible experience so far. Unable to get shop verified, but no details on why other that not meeting compliance requirements. No way to get support of an actual human, I'm fairly tech savvy but just being sent in circles. Incredibly frustrating.
