this app will not allow me to sync my business page from IG to shopify. My products have been approved and yet for some reason Facebook Meta is not syncing my products. I am missing out on potential customers because of this. Every time I try to reconnect the instagram an issue has occurred. Both instagram and facebook have been giving business store issues. This is unacceptable and unfair. All of my products are from a drop shipping supplier. In which they are legal and meet all requirements according to the guidelines. So what is the real issue?

I would say the process is a bit lengthy in setting up the FB Channel, but overall it's easy to follow.

Even if a product has multiple images, only one image is linked to Instagram Shopping.
This specification makes it impossible to take advantage of Instagram as an image SNS. A single image does not inspire users to buy.

Shopify told me that my Instagram app was no longer up to date and to install the new Facebook app. Since doing this, we have lost both Facebook and Instagram shopping and when I try to reconnect, I am told some of our products are not suitable and the shop is denied. Even after having deleted said products from Shopify, it is still not working. Can somebody please offer some advice as we have lost two shopping channels. Very, very upsetting!

This certainly does not sound like the expected behaviour when migrating over to the new app. When it comes to account and product eligibility, this is something determined directly by Facebook so it would be best to contact Facebook directly regarding your shop's eligibility. However, I'd like to hear more details on your experience to see if I can provide some resources or guidance in getting this resolved. The worse when it comes to doing business. I do not plan to do business with Facebook ever again. My items were being rejected after being reviewed as not following guidelines or policy when my business complies and is only skincare. No medical or device, personal attributes or whatever other reason I have been denied.I’m over all done with Facebook. Not a fan or supporter anymore.
