I have to really wonder what genius decided to roll this out during the busiest shopping time of the year. My facebook worked just find and now I'm forced to load yet another app to weigh down my store and it doesn't work. When contacting shopify support the support people have the audacity to tell me they provide limited support. IT"S your app. If you don't provide support, who does? It's really outrageous. If I could give this app a zero I would.

Too many errors after adding this. Old pixel is still on fb, unable to edit iOS preferences for new pixel. Unable to change the old pixel in running ads.

The FB sales channel is no longer accessible in the Shopify back-end. In fairness Shopify support were quick and indicated its a ''user access token'' problem on the FB side which I guess means its a security protocol. But I have spent 6+ wks liaising with FIVE different tickets for ecommerce support teams at FB. Every one of them gave up on this. More evidence of the Metaturds [....check out the other 1 star reviews here]. I guess only thing left to try is the classic ON/OFF fix and delete the channel before a re-install...........

The Facebook pixel is mistakenly firing the purchase event on product pages, making the campaign algorithm confused and performing poorly. I don´t recommend this app and don't count on getting any support from Meta.

there is no support with this app - I have been hacked 3 weeks ago, they took over my socials and pages, I have sent in several support tickets to remove the app from Shopify as the hacker is charging my ads account and using our pixel to retarget and no support. Shopify's hands are tied because its a 3rd party app. VERY disappointed in META. They need to take some cues from Shopify in support.

With the Facebook channel now being owned by Meta, the marketing section for Facebook in Shopify has since been removed, and all ads will now need to be run from directly within the Facebook Ads account. I'm going to follow up with you over email to open up the lines of communication and see how we can provide more support for you on this.

The app doesn't work, at first, it said "error verifying your account, try in one minute" Now I select the cookies and accept them and it appears the cookies message again and again. Please SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!!!!

Here is what happened, I installed the Facebook Sales Channel, I connected my account, I created new Facebook page specially for my website, I created new Instagram page specially for my website, both separate from my personnel one. I tried to create ad campaign following Shopify video instruction, I got violation and Facebook disabled my ad account, I contacted Facebook customer service back and forth for weeks, they asked me for verification for my LLC company, I sent them all the company papers, they asked again to verify ID, I scanned my driver license and sent it to them, they asked for a recording showing what the issue, I recorded everything and send it to them, in the end they said I unfortunately they will not be able to activate that account again. I tried to delete that ad account or disconnect my card it didn't work. I let it go, and create new ad account, I tried to link the current both pages FB & IG they didn't allow it. I contacted Shopify customer support to help me out, they make create new business manager to the account and I needed to create new Facebook page and new Instagram page, I did that, now the verification process again in the other side, I repeated the same process, uploading my company info and my DL, after months and months I have everything or that I was thinking, the products don't sync asking for image link, then they asked for google category link something like that, and I don't have a shop so I need to setup the shop, I tried to setup the shop but can't access the Facebook channel and it was saying "something went wrong try again later" I contact the Shopify customer service again through live chat, and the girl asked me to delete the Facebook Channel and add it again, I did, and now I have to setup again, I connected my Facebook account, but here I'm can't link any of my Facebook pages or Instagram pages because I don't have presence on both platforms, and asking me to create new Facebook page and new Instagram page, a year in this cycle, my stress level to the roof, and I don't want any of your apologies, just try to make it easy for these people over there who try to do something for themselves in this pandemic. Thank you.

This is the most annoying app ever! I spend more than 10 hours just to repeat the same steps over and over! It should be so simple and it's just a Bloody nightmare! Facebook Marketing is not working! I keep on getting the same issues when trying to do the set up for my Ad account. I keep on getting this; This ad account needs to be added to the selected Business Manager to continue. And when i added my account guess what? This ad account couldn’t be added to the selected Business Manager because you’ve reached the maximum number of allowed ad accounts. Contact Facebook support to learn more..... I have contacted them and now is 5 hours waiting! This is Facebook for god sake!
