I am finding this extremely difficult to set up - the matter is still not resolved and because the issues are at the Facebook end, Shopify support is unable to fix. Update - Well, Facebook now connected but Instagram rejected .... worth neither the time nor the effort trying to fix - delete the one star. Update 2 - Facebook now disconnected with this message 'Something went wrong when attempting to connect your business manager. Please try again later.' Issues with this App are still not resolved

HI.3 DAYS AGO YOUR APPLICATION CHARGE SOME FEE FROM MY CREDIT CARD. BUT I NEVER PUT MY INFORMATION. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? MY BANK INFIRM ME AND I CANNOT FIND ANY PLACE WHERE I LUNCH MY COMPLAINT SO I AM MENTIONING MINE COMPLAINT HERE IN REVIEW. GUIDE ME ON HOW I CAN GET BACK YOUR CHARGED FEE. it's a nightmare to setup, terrible privacy issues, Meta will edit all your products, all your clients e-mails, phone numbers and addresses.
Shopify will get to read all your facebook and instagram messages in return.
it's a horrible idea!

I completely understand your privacy concerns! The permissions requested are vetted by both Shopify and Meta privacy teams so that they are appropriate to do the tasks requested and nothing more. These types of permissions allow services like automated responses, related searches and in some instances continued conversations. Many similar predictive text algorithms are already in place in everyday life. Rest assured, however, that Shopify takes privacy matters very seriously.

I cant use to Facebook shop, Instagram shop. i dont know. Build Credit. I make 1.3K person my page. If access More Person that. Facebook told me talk to shopify. shopify told me talk to Facebook
How can i do that. Plz tell me.

It's been months this app isn't working. Questions re all over the web but NO ANSWER Nothing works, facebook. And when we mail you you just send us the tutorial. Don't you think we tried dozens of times already ?

Slow and convoluted; make it a 1-2-3 step process, i am searching all over the left hand nav bar for buttons to push to verify and check status. Make it easy to roll over, not so byzantine

A couple months ago I used the Shopify app to set up the Facebook and Instagram stores whereupon FB promptly flagged my store due to not meeting their commerce criteria, whatever that is. They don't make it easy to find out why, either. The process is so convoluted it takes hours hunting down the issues, and nothing has been resolved. My guess is it has to do with the Shopify feed including items that are in draft status, have no inventory, or ineligible (gift certificates, apparently)... so then why are they included??? This is the exact sort of problem I count on an app to avoid. I don't get much traffic from FB anyway, so didn't bother with it again until recently. I contacted FB who provided some guidance. I managed to find and delete the problem items, but they still have my store flagged... I sent them a screen shot showing no issues and asked what to do next. They just resent me the same info as before. After reading other recent reviews, I'm deleting the app... not worth the aggravation.

Horrible. All the sales channels that shopify offers are so frustrating.
I opened the google one a week or so ago. so many problems. Stupidly i thought let me try facebook channel. Spending the half hour it takes to set up the account isn't an issue. It's getting the you've been banned..... Like hello what is wrong with your company. I literally just added some info. I don't know if i did every step correctly but my god...so frustrating.
I understand that this wasn't shopify's fault. I'm just letting others no what they can be in for if the get this channel. Update: Totally banned by facebook. They don't let you know why. Very frustrating.

I understand that you were seeing some kind of ban or disapproval on your Facebook accounts in the channel. These are actually decisions made by Facebook directly, and not something Shopify has control over.
