Horrible support with automated response and zero brains. Received an error after initial setup was successful, then received 7 "cut and paste" answers from facebook support. Losers!

I've spent hours installing, uninstalling, clearing cache and looking why when trying to install the facebook app it tells me all the time "An error has occurred" Close and open the browser. It is impossible to install it when I had it installed for a long time. What's going on? To what is due?

Utterly useless .. the old FB app that worked seamlessly was replaced with this one .. and wont connect .. WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A FB STORE FOR OVER 4 MONTHS NOW .. Shopify ticket ID is 20655893 .. DO NOT install this app it will disconnect your working app and cause NONE of your tagged FB products & links to work .. ZERO STARS .. Shopify's reposne is to contact Facebook however the MOST ironic thing is that the No1 platform on the planet for "Connecting People" are simply impossible to connect with themselves .. !!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I can definitely see why this situation has been stressful given that you still cannot connect your Facebook or Instagram for over 4 months. I know our Technical was working with the Facebook development team diligently to get the error you were you encountering resolved and has confirmed the issue lies within Facebook's platform. I have used this APP for 1 year and now it does not allow facebook checkout on desktop or mobile. The payment methods were changed to use Facebook and Instagram checkout, however it does not. It stop working in January after we enabled Shopify Balance Account. We have delete the app from shopfy, re-onboard several time and the issue remained. We even deactivated and deleted the facebook store commerce account and its the same. Shopify and Facebook both have failed in finding a resolution and continue to point the finger at each other instead of coming together to provide a solution.

This has been a horrible experience I have been dealing with an issue for months.. Facebook support says it's a Shopify issue and Shopify says it's a Facebook issue. If I could rate Shopify's customer service I would give them a low score as well. I have pending orders on Instagram that I can not cancel or fulfill (and I was not paid for them). My customers are mad because they paid for something that they have not received and the orders are not showing in my Shopify store. It just seems that no one cares about this issue and it is completely ruining my business reputation and my business credibility. I am beyond frustrated at this point and I am seriously considering going to another platform. I will be seeking a refund for Shopify because I paid in advance. I am not just ranting and did not exhaust all options. I really really tried for months. The last Shopify customer service person told me he would be off for a week and he would let me know something when he came back..smh. And I am not the only person having this issue. Facebook support and Shopify support have completely dropped the ball on this and I wish I could get a refund and go elsewhere!

Absolutely Terrible, and here's the exact problem they need to solve.
1. Pixel + CAPI are supposed to work but you can't confirm, They won't let you insert Test ID. This means if there's something wrong, You'll know it after days. 2. Feed requires a lot of improvement 3. Let user select shop feed they want to set instead of pushing default shopify feed. 4. Pixel - Let user create custom events from specific buttons (Wishlist / Remove Cart / Subscribe etc)
5. Remove Advertisement from app as it's more of a problem then a solution. Why? Because it shows only 1% of available options and you'd never know what you missed.
6. I received many issues with CAPI and there's no way to know who's responsible. Facebook? Meta? Shopify? Shopify App? Me? You? Everyone? Well, That was it! I am feeling like I should be paying rather than waiting them to destroy my business.

Conversions API is not syncing correctly. It says partner integration data has not been flowing for close to a month. FB Support and Shopify Support have not been helpful solving for the issue, all they do is say to disconnect and reconnect and we've done that loads of times at this point. Pixel data is fine, server data is not.

Why this app isn’t compatible with your store,Obviously this is a program aimed at Chinese merchants and is not allowed to open!I am very frustrated. Facebook has become more and more effective in suppressing China!

It gives a constant warning because they closed the Shopping feature, but it is very good to have a single tool for full integration
