Before it was a great app, but now it is not. Not support anything but only sync of product catalog to facebook, even can't share product cards in messenger anymore.

I like that everything is self explanatory and that as I continue to browse around the website, it i find new and amazing things. I look forward to seeing what i can accomplish with Shopify
If I can, I must grade it zero star. Facebook & Instagram do not provide any technical support. You have to solve all problems by yourself. Please be aware of this before installing any Facebook and/or Instagram app as your sales channel.

The setup is really easy and user-friendly. The only downside is Facebook does not allow the sale of animal food products

The support and service are so bad that the only thing those CS reps care are to close the case ASAP instead of helping you to actually solve the issue. I had an issue with the business account, the CS reps kept changing and every time there was a new reps I had to explain everything all over again and it's literally without any progress or solve my business account issue or whatsoever and they just closed the case because the case was more than 48 hours! At the end I figured out myself to fix the account issue.
And now, I am stocked in the process of verify my business despite by providing all the legal documents to them they kept asking for more info, seriously?! What more company legal info you will need to verify a company? Company registration document, check! But No from FB. Company Bank Account Statement, Check! But No from FB. Company Director's resident document, Check! But No from FB!
I tried to contact FB to figure out this matter for too many times, but no answer no feedback, VERY typical FB, bad service, poor product, simply don't care individual merchants.

I'm using the Facebook channel to bring my products to Facebook, and Instagram with one click. it does help a lot to save time and money.

Facebook and IG Shop are not working correctly. For some strange reason my active products are no longer in the tag products options, the only one that appears are the inactive products. Seriously? I had to delete the app and re-installed it but the issue continues. Have contact customer services and have not get a response from them yet. Definitely will need to try another social media option and do ads there instead of Facebook or Instagram since I am unable to tag products and it feels like I am back to 2018 where that option did not exist. What a bummer!

Although the Instagram app's tagging feature is fully supported by Instagram's team, there could be a few different instances where the product catalog might not be syncing properly to Facebook and subsequently to Instagram.

I only want to use Instagram where I can add tags to my website, not the Facebook website that directs to my Shopify checkout. I don't really want to connect both Facebook and Instagram, surely you can connect whichever you please! Facebook always saying 'Request to review issues' ... there's nothing wrong with any of my products - hence I just uninstalled facebook shop. Besides Facebook business manager and Facebook page is so confusing!!

Jack here from Shopify. Thanks for taking the time to submit your feedback. It is definitely possible to just use the Instagram feature of the app, but it does require linking some Facebook accounts. I will reach out to you over email to help you out.
