Faire : ventes B2B

I'm a superfan of Faire! I love it as both as a maker/seller and a shop owner/buyer seeking out small shops with values aligned with my products and as a buyer seeking out bespoke, truly independent brands making high quality, thoughtful, unique products with the same high standards and care that I put into my own products (I have two different businesses). Extremely pleased with this platform.

I'm not happy with the amount of fees Faire takes on each sale, especially the $10 fee every time a new retailer orders from me. It's called a First Sale Fee. I thought it meant first sale. It means the first sale for every different retailer. If the retailer reorders from me, I won't be charged the $10. That's on top of the commission you pay and card processing fee.

I also had a hard time linking products to Shopify so only 1 of 9 products are linked. Could have just been me though or a glitch that particular day?

Besides the fees, the app is all inclusive and orders sync well with both Shopify and ShipStation if you use that app as well.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I have been working on and off since March (it's now July) to get my Shopify-Faire integration to work correctly. I got so frustrated that I just put it aside for a couple of months only to return to a bigger nightmare ... products duplicating, some missing, inability to add things to cart, carts emptying, etc.... The issue is likely not that complicated but there are too many ways that you can sync the two systems and no good troubleshooting support. BUT the main issue is that Faire support takes forever to respond and when they do so they select one thing to focus on which is often not the crux of the issue. I've decided to delete the app and start from scratch but my store was essentially ineffective during all of Faire's Summer Market and I got minimal to no response or help from Faire. I am integrated with a couple of other platforms and the process was very smooth so the issue is 100% this app.
