The app was working fine for 3 months even though the GUI design is sloppy and looks old, but now suddenly does not deliver the license key to my customers or shows new orders in the order section. I've been dealing with all and sending everything manually because it just stop working. Also today I found that I can not login to my account with them. Whatever is going on if they fix it, I get back to using it but for now, I when with the competitor.

I have mixed feelings about this app..so much so that this is the first 3 star review I've made. When the app works it does an amazing job!
Here are the pros of fetchapp;
-It's free unless you need to use their storage. We do not need much storage so this has been the cheapest option so far.
-The app tells you if you have duplicate licenses within a single product. While most apps have this feature, I still consider this a pro.
-Importing and syncing products to your website is super easy.
-Customer Support has been helpful in the small number of times we have needed some assistance
Now here are the cons
-Removing licenses from a product is super tedious...unless you delete that product from fetchapp.
-There is no option to select how many license keys are distributed per order.
-Downloads are limited to 100 licenses per order. This is a HUGE issue for me. Some orders have contained as many as 1000 licenses. It is a major pain trying to remove the licenses from the app and manually send them to the customer. This was a deal breaker.
-Down times for the app were more common with fetchapp than it has been with other applications we have used.
-We used a custom email template to take away all of the unnecessary clutter this app comes default with. Sometimes the email template doesn't work like it's suppose to. All of the blame can't fall onto fetch app..but the preview of the template should do a better job of being consistent. Basically, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. How convenient...
-This app just like every other app is designed with all digital downloads in mind. Sort of a universal fit to it. This works great for most businesses..However, if you need an app strictly for license keys (and not an actual download like a picture or music) well good luck finding one that works efficiently.
So to summarize - This app may or may not fit your needs. While it isn't a bad application, it is not what we need in order to operate this business efficiently.
Great when it works but beware, in the month I've been using this app it has twice had an 8hour outage resulting in customers not receiving their download links.
The outages have occurred out of regular office hours and it seems there is no-one in the Fetch App office to either monitor the system or respond to support tickets making me wonder why "support staff on call 24/7/365 to ensure best performance" is listed on their website under the features list.
I understand that technology breaks but who can afford to wait until someone rolls into the Fetch office to fix a server issue that occurred after 6pm the previous day?
Again, great app when it works but if you use this app be prepared to stay up all night manually sending download links to your customers or set-up a revised order confirmation warning customers of a delay in the delivery of their download links.
Currently seeking an alternative download app.
I have only started using this app on Saturday evening and allready had a big respsonse to our download, I have been delighted with FetchApp, I had a wee issue but they have resolved this and I now know where to go if this happens again. Totally brilliant. I went for 50mb package. Definately gets 5 stars from us.
Amazing app. Works with multiple files in one product that was exactly what I needed. Works flawlessly.
Awesome app and very easy to manage for our shop
I'm just in shock! I have been using this app for 3 months without any problems. But yesterday, emails to my customers just stopped being sent. And I can't log in to the app. FetchApp writes that my store does not exist. I'm terrified, my customers are waiting for their order! I sent about 5 messages to tech support and they are silent! I It was 2GB of content now just evaporated!
We are so sorry to hear about this! We restored your account this morning and wrote back via email. The issue was caused by a form submission that was accidentally translated on the browser-side. No data was lost, however, and you should be able to import any orders that may still be missing. We will be happy to assist you with anything you may need to make this right!
Superb app in every way. Maybe even better, the customer support is outstanding - very attentive, friendly and always helpful. Highest recommendation: A++!!!!
Really amazing app, helped me a lot with shipping my digital products and license keys, the support team is very helpful and quick to respond, would definitely recommend giving it a shot.
I use this app to sell hundreds of digital products on my shop. I really like how it works, it's very smooth and easy to use. Customer service is awesome.
Excellent. I don't have to do a thing when a xustomer orders and it all runs so smoothly. No problems over the 2 months I've been using it and I deal excusively in pdf downloads.
We have used many apps from the Shopify App store, but this one doesn't even compare to the rest. Our business would not be the same without FetchApp! We sell stock photos at www.looklagoon.com and this app allows us to deliver the download links to our customers instantly upon purchase. The integration with Shopify is absolutely amazing - all you have to do is click "Import Products" and it does all the work for you.
We host our photos elsewhere (some are very large files), and use FetchApp to deliver the links to our customers. We haven't seen any issues at all, and the customer service they provide is fantastic as well.
There are so many excellent features that come with this app - customizable email templates, sales reports, and more. If you are looking for a way to offer digital downloads, FetchApp is definitely the way to go! Highly, highly recommend this app!!! A+++
This is a great app. It is very functional and powerful. It's a bit pricey, but since I'm selling only downloadable goods, it makes sense for me. It is certainly worth the money. Thanks Fetch!
I have had Fetch for several months with no issues. Except maybe price. Easy to use and customize. Easy to extend download times if a customer has an issue.
Got billed every month, but my customers were never able to download anything, or receive the ones, that I sent manually through Fetch.
To be honest just dont have time to email the company back and forth, just produced DVDs instead..maybe find another app that would work.
I just launched with FetchApp in the last week and so far everything has gone very smoothly. All the customers have been able to successfully download the book and best of all, I've had to do absolutely nothing!
Works 100% exactly as described. Wish storage space was a little cheaper but hey they have to make their money too. I had a customer call that he didn't get his download links. I went to the fetch app admin area and saw the link was sent (immediately) but used the tools to resend the links and then asked him to check. He was checking the wrong email account and the links were there as expected. Not only that but I could see the time he downloaded the digital items plus the IP address. You can set time limits or download limits and it's all so smooth. Worth it!
Simple app that works flawlessly! It's very easy to setup. Only took us 15 minutes to install, setup and load our products!
We've been using Fetch for years with virtually zero issues. It works so well that it actually makes us wish we had more digital products to sell!
Wish there were other options than Fetch. Had numerous problems loading my products onto their server. Also customer service is not the greatest as I didn't get a response to my upload issues until days later.
Absolutely LOVE Fetch! It's great to have for sending eBooks to our customers. Best of all, their customer support is amazing! They are always more than happy to help you when you're in need. Especially late on a Thursday night.
My entire business runs off Fetch. We sell downloadable training videos for filmmakers. Fetch makes it very easy to set up and run. And they're very helpful with tech support though this is rarely needed. An a+ service.
I absolutely LOVE fetch! I also sell really large files (.psd templates) and fetch has always handled them with no problems.
When I have contacted customer service with a question, I am always greeted with a super fast, friendly reply from someone who actually sounds like a real human. :)
Another thing I've really loved about fetch is they're ability to prove me wrong... just when I think they couldnt possibly improve on the site, they release a new feature that saves me time, and makes life easier. :)

Fetch combines an outstanding utility with top-notch customer service. I largely chose shopify as my storefront because of the power of this handy tool for digital delivery. Even better, they not only promise but also deliver on constant improvements to the system.
This app is phenomenal, and the customer support is outstanding. I've had hardly any issues in the last six months, and most of the problems I had earlier on were actually Shopify issues rather than Fetch glitches, but the folks at Fetch took things on anyway. Fetch is the whole reason I didn't give up on Shopify - they ROCK!
The combination of Shopify and Fetch is the perfect duo. I have been using Fetch for over a year now and it has revolutionized the way I do business. I run my website from New Zealand which means I am on a very different time zone than Europe and the US. Fetch allows me to happily go off to sleep knowing that sales will be taken care of through the night. When I wake up it is great to see all the automated sales that have happened through the night while I have been in dreamland. I will definitely be looking at ways to expand my business using Fetch in the future.
We're using Fetch to deliver audio loop product files that are pretty large. Some of the files are over 500 GB. The reliability with Fetch is very good. Simple nice interface. Nice set of features. Easy to set up.
The customer user experience between Shopify and Fetch isn't as clean as I'd like for my customers. For example, Shopify isn't designed for digital downloads so customers are forced to provide a shipping address even though we're not shipping a product. There's a couple of klugy things like that. Over time, Shopify will likely clean those things up.

Fetch is a great application that does exactly everything it says it does for a very affordable price.
But what really sets Fetch apart is the tech support -- the support staff was EXTREMELY helpful. They replied to every one of my emails in a timely and polite fashion, and stuck with every issue until my questions were answered, the problem was fixed, and I was satisfied, all the while being friendly and cordial. I would absolutely recommend using Fetch if you're on the fence about whether or not to use Shopify to handle digital downloads.
Great app, even better support. Emailed them about an issue and they responded in less than an hour. They even kept me updated while they patched our account to accommodate our store's unusual setup. So I did what any sensible and decent human would do: I wrote them a haiku.

Super easy to set up and use - and then it works flawlessly without you having to think about it. Support was always speedy with replies and solutions.
Clean, simple, and solid front and back end. It's worked great for the variety of digital music packages my band offers.
It works automagically without me having to think about it. The staff is great to work with; they are responsive, and work hard to address the concerns of those who use the product.
I sell downloadable sewing patterns and Fetch has been great. It was easy to implement and the help I have received has been great.
We are a full time touring band that's doing some things differently...selling our albums on USB drives, and loading fan drives right at the show.
For direct digital distribution through our website, Fetch is our solution. The app has been tremendous and paid for itself many times over in the first month.
The backend is super clean and easy to use, and allows plenty of customization when it comes to my buyer's experience. I particularly like customizing emails to customers, and the ability to notify them when I've updated the digital product they purchased - without doing it manually.
I would say that the pricing plans are generous and I had no problems setting it up with my Shopify account at all.
I highly recommend this!
