Finaloop

I have been a mired mess of numbers since I launched my shop. I HATED Quickbooks. I thought capturing and categorizing was all I needed to do. But no, there was more manual stuff like reconciling bank statements and spreadsheets from Amazon, Etsy, Shopify and other sites for the accountant. By year 6, my books gave my accountant a headache because I had grown, sold more items that were not tracked in QB, (why didn't Shopify and QB sync?) my books were just impossible because I hadn't fixed it from the first year. I'm a solopreneur who is a creative - so this admin stuff is a drag to me, but I know it's gotta get done. Frustrated, I searched for a plug in. I knew Shopify had 3rd party partners and that's when I saw the reviews for FINALOOP. It was cheaper than QB and there was a 14 day trial period. I connected my accounts and selling platforms, and the AI categorized recognizable entries! The unclear entries I had to enter, but then the AI knows how to handle it for the next sync. Since I launched my business I have said so many times, "there must be a Quickbooks-equivalent for Shopify/D2C merchants" because using QB as a D2C business is horrific and not of this era.
