Great e-comm focused accounting software. Switched to Finaloop at the beginning of 2024 from Quickbooks. No competition/regrets there. I had given Xero a trial around the same time, but found Finaloop to be more user friendly and more robust for my needs at the time. They have made many great updates since, including product suggestions that I have personally requested, which shows that they really listen to their customers and are committed to evolving with the times. I find their support to be very helpful and generally quick in response time (less than 24 business hours, with the exception of tax season - can be slightly longer). Reporting could be more robust - I know they are constantly trying to improve this. Overall highly recommend.
I had a very disappointing experience with Finaloop. I was charged around $4,000 with the promise of having access to a human bookkeeper for support, but that never materialized.
Within just a few weeks, I couldn’t reliably log in or get my accounts to sync, which made the service essentially unusable. When I reached out for help, instead of resolving the issues, I was told I would need to pay even more to get proper support. That was extremely frustrating and felt unreasonable.
Ultimately, I switched back to a traditional bookkeeping service and found it to be more reliable, and actually more affordable than this AI-based option.
Also, instead of refunding me for the remaining subscription they said they have a no return policy.
Based on my experience, I would recommend proceeding with caution.
Switching to Finaloop was the most reliving and best choice I have ever made. It was a bit stressful at first, because its a scary change. But its penny for penny perfect and their team is incredible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ALL BUSINESS OWNERS ESPECIALLY ECOMMERCE!
