Over complicated and I simply do not understand all the rules and what they mean. I just want something to easily install and let technology do all the hard work.

This is silly. It can't actually block a transaction based on the rules - it only cancels the order after the transaction already occurs. As everyone states in the reviews, that leave us - your merchants - having to cover the transaction fees for/on the reversal. Why can't this simply block the transaction, based on the rule - before the transaction occurs, so that the merchant doesn't incur expenses?

Thank you for getting in touch and for writing your review, and I can appreciate your frustration over the limitations of the Fraud Filter app in terms of preventing high risk or fraudulent orders from being placed at all.

The app will cancel or flag an order if it meets the criteria you've set once the order has been placed, but I can see why you'd prefer a solution that stops the customer from placing an order. The app is a piece of shit. I really wanted Shopify Fraud Protect apparently I am not eligible even tho I am located in us and use Shopify payments. Like wtf.

Ultimately the app is not useful because of the rule sets it uses. Would be nice if could use the Shopify fraud detection system to automatically cancel orders and send a message.

It literally doesn't open, so it doesn't work. It sounds like it could have been useful but it most certainly has no use.

Hi, there! We don't seem to be experiencing any issues with the app opening, so this is most likely due to a browser issue caused by caching, a browser extension, or an ad blocker. I can absolutely confirm Absolute Scientific LLC's review that this particular app does NOT do anything in regards to blocking suspicious/fake emails. Shopify support suggested me to install this app but seriously this does absolutely nothing against fraudulent actions of users.
Blacklisting emails and other information comes builtin in other CMS platforms and Shopify doesn't. This is highly condemnable when it comes to security! On top of that, I was suggested to install a paid app to get these features! Are you kidding me when it comes to security?!

Useless. I need to blacklist customer from placing an order. I have been getting some fraudulent orders, all from same email domain. I am ending up cancelling them and refunding, but it still costs me fees. I would appreciate if we can prevent some customers (filtered by IP, domain, name or delivery address) form placing an order in the first place.
