ClickShip seems like it is still in the infancy stages at least where any claims are involved. We had an e-bike ship to a customer and show up as if it had flown from across the globe. The box was completely mangled and attempted to have been taped back together but the damage had already been done by that time.
The main problem is, ClickShip's "insurance coverage" they claim to have has still been "assessing the claim" 4 months later. We have seen zero coverage paid to us as of yet and it is just a back and forth game they have been playing with us. This is not something that would ever occur when dealing directly with the courier companies themselves ie. UPS, Canpar, etc.
Also, as noted by other users, Clickship will auto-bill your credit card on file for overages (most of which we noticed had outlandish adjusted dimensions and weights). They do email you an adjustment invoice, but it is not noted as such and easily missed in order to dispute. Another issue that is not dealt with in any sort of organized fashion.
We are still waiting to see if ClickShip will prove us wrong but hasn't happened yet and we had to put a hold on this service.
Update as of Nov 4/24: Clickship who operates under "Freightcom" has recognized on several occasions that they have received the compensation from the carrier due to us for the damges to our product however now are also waiting on "funds from their own Insurance" before they can release our monies owing to our company. Please let me know how much longer you expect this to entail Clickship?

After reviewing your case, it appears that the shipment was underinsured, which has caused delays in the settlement process with the insurance company. Specifically, the value on the cost invoice provided is more than double the insured value.
Our claims team is actively working on your behalf to recover the settlement for you. However, to move forward, we require a cost invoice that matches the insured value to proceed with the insurance company.
As per your recent conversation with our claims team today, we are currently awaiting this updated invoice in order to continue the process.
We understand how frustrating this situation is and we are committed to advocating for you wherever possible. Unfortunately, the discrepancies in the claim have led to delays that are beyond our immediate control.

You can only add live rates to your site with the $517/month advanced shopify plan.
I get a cheaper UPS rate through Shopify than Click Ship, so not sure what the advantage is?
I think I will be uninstalling this app, and just using the UPS labels that are already available through Shopify
It's ok until it isn't -when they lose packages - if you have customers that can wait weeks for next day shipping and you don't mind waiting 4-5 months for denied claims ... they will get back to you in 60-120 days ish

The apps is convenient even if some fonctions are not supported and need to return to their website from time to time. Claim process, customer support and billing service is a mess. Trying to get a refund on their mistake is almost impossible or required a lot of interaction. Navigate between, customer service, billing, claim, accounting is a nightmare. We have lost a lot of money on double charge.
Their pricing is good so eventually you recoup your lost. Never allow them to billed you automatically, make sure you double check everything before you pay. That is my advice.
Customer service is lacking, typically passed around and never helped. We've used Clickship and Freightcom for quite some time and are looking forward to making a change. Slow with issuing invoices for you to continue shipping. Heavy delays with claims.

Yes, I will admit to heavy delays with certain claims ( when they happen) and we do understand how this impacts our customers' business. We are actively implementing potential solutions to resolve these delays.
Very user friendly. I have tried other apps and found them very difficult to navigate. Customer service is also excellent. They reached out to me to see if I had any issues or needed help. I spoke with a woman named Lisa, she was incredibly helpful - took the time to go over many things and brought a few things to my attention that I didn't even realize I had screwed up. Highly recommend giving this app a go!

I had non stop headaches using this service. I was constantly charged for things that I wasn't supposed to be charged for, the app wouldnt work when I needed to book a pickup, and the app doesn't tell you when your packages cant get picked up on certain days, which ended up slowing my deliveries down. Im better off staying with shopify payments.

This app was the greatest thing for my business! It made my shipping process so much easier especially with the fact that they do picks up at home or wherever you are shipping from. Amanda at freightcom was so helpful with everything I needed. I asked so many questions & she was very patient with me and pointed me into the right direction. Best app ever!!! Always give me the best rate to ship my orders even tho out of Quebec, the rates are always good!!!its super easy to use , all your order are there so you just have to click on it and you have nothing to fill yourself!!! Only the weight of packaging, it’s save me a lot of time!!! And you also have the choice to enter manually a shipment. However, i tried few app for shipping, and this one is by far the best app!! Click Ship makes shipping packages so easy, from the order the the carrier picking the package up the process is seamless! Each customer has an account rep which are always available to help answer questions. And best of all, shipping is fast, easy, and extremely cheap! They are by far one of the best out there! Thanks
Truly a game changer! Extremely competitive rates and very easy to use platform. Shopify is really well integrated. The best part is not only the rates are great, but unlike Shopify, they charge you in Canadian dollars so you don't get screwed over on the exchange rate!!
Great app! Saves you time and money. We wish they would fix is the Pick-up option. We would like to select and then use the pick-up for multiples.
We contacted the company since our packages are cleared through customs without our consent after 2 to 3 weeks of waiting in the respective post office dispatch centres.
We call for our contacts to take care of it and constantly transfer us to another telephone line and no one answers them.
A complete waste of time.
I've been working with this app for a few months now and it works well. There are no "magic" paths to low freight rates. The best you can ask for is the ability to offer a wide variety of customer options and to flexibly manage their choices. Freightcom offers that.
I had an issue that left me pretty angry. The owner called immediately when he found out. It's obvious he cares about his business and his customers.
This app has saved me a LOT of problems, especially through the Canada Post strike. Now that we are slowing using CP again, we are keeping this app, and the shipping options it provides, available for our customers. And honestly, we still use this 90% more than our CP options.
That being said I do hope they add Canada Post to their shipping carriers soon so I can just use this and nothing else :)
The app worked perfectly. There were a few issues but the Freightcom team sorted them out. Great communication, great pricing and a great team.

A must have app for any Shopify owner! It has the best rates compared to any other app and the interface is very user friendly. It automates the entire shipping process allowing me to batch print labels, schedule pick-ups, and automatically fulfil orders. The customer service is fantastic and they are always available for any feedback and respond quickly. Also, if you ship any skids or pallets, you get access to their very competitive LTL shipping rates. This is hands down the best shipping app I’ve ever used and highly recommend it!
I had been using Netparcel for shipping since I started my store in 2016, but switched to Freightcom a few months ago and have been very impressed. First of all, the shipping rates are lower, which saves my customers money. Secondly, the app is far superior and better integrated with Shopify, so it's easier to use. The app has an intelligent box selection algorithm that prices the shipping cost much more accurately since it uses both dimensions and weight (Netparcel only uses weight). It also knows when more than one box is needed. Lastly, I find the customer support to be far superior...something that's often overlooked.
