Safely accept orders you currently lose to fraud false declines (High Risk) and payment churn
FUGU Offers a Multi-Tier fraud protection, analysing customer behaviour after checkout, verifying customers, recording interactions, and alerting on fraud. Merchants can dynamically rout selected orders to chargeback protection plan or simply follow our risk recommendations. To minimize payment churn, FUGU also provides a Promise To Pay capability guaranteeing shipment for failed payments. Tal delivered outstanding customer service, while FUGU has proven invaluable in minimizing erroneous order rejections and mitigating chargeback risks, thus reducing manual administrative tasks. Effective customer support and streamlined operations are crucial for business success.
Beyond frustrating experience trying to get this app set up. The app does not check your existing orders and so I reached out to the support team who offered to manually check it for me. After several days of waiting and hearing nothing back, I reached out to them to find out what was happening and even though I was messaging the same person, I had to repeat all over again because they had no recollection of the conversation or the fact that they've left me waiting for my information. After being asked to repeat myself for the third time I uninstalled the app. Total waste of time and terrible support experience. I found the app itself is very basic and does little to enhance the existing Shopify fraud analysis not ideal if you're looking for something more robust.

The customer service of the app is really amazing. I downloaded the app and I was confused at first, but they helped me understand everything. I highly recommend!
Before I used that app, I lost A LOT of money on cases in Stripe. Once I have started to use the app, I haven't lost even 1 case!!!
99% of the cases that I have were on high order values and with the help of FUGU, I have created rules that if an order is above $250 then, the app will send an SMS+Email to the customer for signature. When customers didn't signed, I knew that the order might be a fraud and I tried calling the customers. Customers who haven't answered their phone, I knew that they are fraud. Also, I really liked their customer service!
