After 3 years with Bold Loyalty, we made a bold move to Gameball. We wanted a fresher design and a more dynamic loyalty program.

Gameball not only matched Bold's price but also had a user-friendly interface, ensuring a smooth transition for our customers. The Backoffice is a breeze to configure and understand, and the widget design options are plentiful. The stats are presented beautifully and are easy to grasp. Creating simple or complex challenges to gamify the purchase process is a breeze too. Integration with apps like Judge.me is a game-changer, eliminating manual point attribution for reviews.

If your loyalty app is listed, switching to Gameball is a piece of cake. Otherwise, just export/import a CSV. However, there are two minor issues with importing the customer database:
- spent amounts: cannot be imported and is not 'read' by the app in Shopify for existing clients, only new clients will have the amount displayed. No drama, but not 'clean'.
- bonus points. Nothing that will stop you to switch but it requires a bit of manual work if you are using Tiers Level with Bonus points (otherwise you will be all fine). You will have to deduce tier bonus points manually for each client so when you perform import, the current balance is correct. Nothing complicated to do but a bit of manual work that could be easily fixed by Gameball.
We've informed Gameball, they are currently working on it, and once they fix these issues, we'll happily import our large databases from our CH and FR website.

It's an app we love and highly recommend!

Setting it up was easy which is helpful and I love the cute pop up window on my website for the customers to see their points.

I am still deliberating if this is the right app for us, but I really like the promise of it. The team is dedicated (though time zones can cause a little hassle) and they're striving to do something new and interesting here. I will update this review later if I end up using the app. I am optimistic though.

I think this is one of the greatest apps for making your customers engaged and building loyalty. Quite fun and offers a lot of schemes so I have enjoyed this a lot. Also, the staff is super helpful.

I am trying to create a rewards program for my customers. I have tried a few different options on the shopify app store and I found Gameball to be the best in terms of UI and user experience. Although, the app is not 100% perfect for my needs, the development team and customer support (particularly Habiba) have been responsive and extremely quick to work to resolve any issues I am having. And have been very open to listening to feature requests for things that would improve my experience. A strong part of why I plan to stay using Gameball for my rewards program is their support team. A quick summary of my experience of how the app works. Overall you have players with accounts and you can reward them with points for doing different things such as signing up or placing an order. Customers can trade in their points for things, such as coupons or free products, on your store. And you can also provide your customers different levels to achieve based on points or money spent which unlock specific things you setup for them to cash in their points on.

I am in the process of setting it up but it has been pretty easy. The customer service team is excellent and took the time to answer all of my questions. Dania is the best! I highly recommend this app as it meets my reward program needs.

Lots of wasted time and headaches! I so badly wanted this app to be the loyalty tool for my small business, but I am CONSTANTLY being forced to fight fires and fix bugs that seem to appear every other day.

While the customer care team is generally responsive to my cries whenever there is an issue, they are always quick to assert that it's "surely not an issue with their app" and the fault of the other party (i.e. the likes of Shopify, Klaviyo, etc.). However I can say after dealing with numerous bugs over the course of the last few months, that TIME AND TIME AGAIN the resolution to the bug ends up coming from an issue that was identified on the Gameball side (surprise, surprise).

Gamification and loyalty are literally the crux of my business. It is simply unsustainable to be constantly trying to identify and fix the issues of a software company that is unable to deliver on their promise. Even more so outrageous when you consider that this app is not cheap. I have easily already wasted £500+ since my subscription began.

I am on the hunt for a better tool so that I can finally sleep easy at night knowing that my small business is in good hands.
