I downloaded many apps for the purpose of adding a cookie bar. Every app I downloaded was missing a key feature or slowed down my site. If you happen to be reading this review, look no further. This is the best app on the app store currently (date today: Apr 9th 2020). 3 reasons I love this app: 1) 100% free to turn on location sensing 2) 100% free to customize the bar colors and fonts 3) Includes CCPA, which should not be neglected on any site. Nicely working App. Didn't had issues installing nor adapting. Only downside is, that I'm not quite sure if there are changes to be made in order to be conform tothe DSGVO e.g the initial state of the consent bar. Is there something I need to change?

Yes, for the initial state of the consent bar we would advise you to block all cookies by default. Here is how you can do that:
1. Navigate to the Cookie Consent Bar tab
2. Locate the Initial State Of The Cookie Consent Bar option and select the following: https://www.screencast.com/t/qmXJ0xO0qb then click Save.
This way the website visitor will need to consciously select the cookies they will opt-in for.

We tested at least 4 apps for GDPR compliance. Only this one contains both options required by GDPR: 1) cookie banner with manageable preferences; 2) A page where a customer can withdraw cookies or manage/delete personal information. Also, the support team is great! Special thanks to Emil Trendafilov. He made a lot of small tweaks to make the widget and the page look and feel like the whole website.
