Extremely positive experience with their support team. No AI responses, just a human dealing with any configuration questions quickly and effectively. Even got sent videos showing me where certain elements were in settings when I was having issues finalising configuration.

Would recommend this app, extremely flexible and covers everything you need for global ecommerce compliance.

The app seems to work well and does what we need it to. It is a bit confusing how they try to push you into a higher plan and then you aren't sure if you've got all your bases covered or not. (I took off a star for that reason.) The help is usually prompt and thorough however -- they do customer service well and if you get Joseph or John helping you, you're in great hands! (Both have helped me enormously -- very nice and so very helpful!!)

We also want to address your concern directly, because it's important to us. Our free and lower tier plans are fully capable of keeping your store compliant. The paid plans simply add automations and time-saving convenience (like scheduled scans, auto-sorting of cookies, storages and pixels, and hands-off compliance management) for merchants who want them - they're never a requirement to "cover your bases."
If anything in the app made that feel unclear, that's on us to communicate better, and we'd genuinely welcome the chance to walk you through exactly what your current plan already covers so you have complete peace of mind on your compliance.

Excellent app with genuinely outstanding support

We have used Consentmo for some time, but recently carried out a much more thorough review of our privacy and cookie consent setup as we expanded our Shopify store internationally and into multiple languages.

I have been extremely impressed. Consentmo gives us a great deal of control while still making a fairly complicated area of ecommerce manageable. We have been able to configure our consent banner, regional privacy requirements, privacy request pages, cookie information, accessibility statement and multilingual storefront requirements in a way that works well with our Shopify setup.

What has particularly stood out is the support. Whenever I have had a question — including some quite specific multilingual configuration issues — the team has responded quickly, understood exactly what I was trying to achieve and pointed me directly to the correct solution. The documentation is also excellent and has clearly been written around real Shopify use cases rather than simply explaining features in isolation.

After going through the app in much greater depth, I actually have more confidence in Consentmo than when we first installed it. It feels like a mature, well-supported app that continues to develop alongside Shopify.

An easy five stars from us and highly recommended.
