My experience so far with Gelato is good for a beginner. The platform has been an eye-opener, but the store is still in the building state, therefore, I can not comment much on customer service issues. I would like to know how to order samples at a discount rate so as to see what my physical products look like.

Regarding ordering samples, we currently offer the ability to order them directly through our platform. Unfortunately, we don't have a specific discount rate for samples at the moment. Having major issues with product availability and how to track availability.
I chose Gelato to supply art prints for my store but found that many of the products are out of stock after I spent a long time creating them. There is no indication of stock levels or when products will be back in stock again.
Support is poor, the agent is never available because of technical problems and no way of finding out if the products are out of stock and when they will be available again, or if they are in fact discontinued.
Why have them in the product catalogue if they are discontinued or unavailable? , as it's very time-consuming to upload products in the first place. Seriously thinking of changing suppliers and starting all over again. Need support!

We are using the integration with Gelato for over two month now. During this time they impressed me on the ease of connecting the products + reaching the customer service with a great response time, always available and quick to reply. There is something else that is great, the delivery times change due to seasonal changes quiet often. This is something we all know of course. But they actively engage with e-mails to keep you posted on this and helping you think about solutions for your customers for this (getting notice to your customers to buy early due to delivery problems during seasonal holidays.)

Gelato is super easy to use (from using templates to design throughout defining prices for mugs). I had a friend testing the Shopify purchase journey in Brazil and she said it didn't take 15 seconds. I received notifications from Gelato/Shopify at every step. It is really well integrated, totally recommend.

It's not the best interface of all the print on demand companies I have used. But it is by far not the worst. And the production cost on the T-shirts along with the production times and shipping discounts make them the best value that I have found. The only ting I would really change is adding better mockups. For my products I need the mockups to be a little more "Fun"

CAUTION - Gelato automatically imports all current products from your store and syncs also all orders from different suppliers "as a feature". You have to deselect the option manually to import orders and you currently cannot deselect the import of all products. I cirrently have 2 gelato products and 80+ products from other suppliers, which are not the business of gelato. In times of data protection, this must be an opt-in feature to be selected with full awareness - at least an option which can be deselected...
btw, the onboarding is also quite complicated and orders will NOT be fulfilled automatically from the scratch. So, I lost a big opportunity :-(

Great printing network, prices and catalogue! Its why I chose Gelato.
Then I was having some issues with the integration (basically I could not integrate my shopify store!) I let them know and the product manager called me on the phone to apologize and they fixed my problem right away. Perfect!!! couldnt ask more! They also told me they wanted to make it up to me so they gave me wallet euros. I had a reactive, but mostly an EFFICIENT answer wich is the most important thing because they solved my problem in a blink. Dont hesitate to ask them everything you need and to point it out if you have an issue, they are constantly making improvements.

I would like to say thank you to gelato manager Kyle for helping me deal with a few issues I was having in the beginning. He reached out to me and went above and beyond to resolve the problems I were having as a first time customer. Even with a few hiccups I &felt the genuine care and I truly appreciate taking the time out and helping me have a better experience. So, I needed to change my past review from last time.

I chose this site because of the great reviews, the products, and especially the neck label layout for their T-shirts. I’ve been looking for a company that I could be comfortable working with and I believe that this maybe the best choice. My shirts arrived in a timely fashion and they came out great! Can’t wait for my next batch to arrive. I’m satisfied. My only suggestion is that the customer service team gets better with understanding and knowing how to resolve issues better. Overall, I think this is a good start for your business.

Very good app. Great selection of tools and setting for beginners and professionals. I would like to see more free mockup templates in the future.
