Integration is not automatic when customers make an order in my store.
Also, the address field only allows 35 chars, which means that in most cases you have to change your customers' orders for the address to fit the available address fields.
Mug packaging is not great. Only cardboard around it, there's no bubble wrap or other kind of fragile material protection. That's not good at all and the sample I've ordered has reached me broken.
Even though there's production in my country, all the orders so far have come from Germany. This leads to slower delivery times for me and my clients, which shouldn't be needed if there's production in Portugal.
Other than these issues, Gelato is exactly what I was looking for and I do plan to keep using it for my small business. It does still have room to improve and that's why I'm leaving that feedback here.

I've been waiting for their technical team to help me with an issue for over a week and I'm constantly being told my request is being escalated. Good to know where their priorities lie.

I was working for 4 hours on a calendar, page crashed, all work was gone. Nothing was saved on this app, not even early stages development of this calendar, all my work for nothing. Does it mean that you need to work on everything and only during one session, then publish it on your store in order to view and edit it again??? Or maybe, i did not reach that point... any clarification about that? I did not dare creating any other product after this.

Had this app for about 5 mins. Contacted chat to ask a very very simple question of which i was told they can not disclose this information. My question was Where is Australia are you located or what city are you shipping from? Pretty straight forward question! I wouldn't trust 'Gelato' as they seem very secretive and not helpful at all. Would hate to know if you were trying to track an order or something alike, the probably wouldn't 'disclose' the information. I'll take my business elsewhere and better yet keep on printing myself.

I used several print on demand apps before I settled with Gelato. Gelato was so easy to use and was helpful to know that they have printing partners in so many countries around the world. This was the game changer for me because that allows my customers to receive shipments quicker. Customer service is also on point, quick and available. One thing I would like to suggest is to get larger sizing beyond 3XL. Looking forward to a long relationship with Gelato!

I really enjoy Gelato's integration with Shopify. It make it really easy to manage the business with:
- automated fulfillments which can be configured to fulfil after x hours and has an option for manual fulfilments
- automatically sends updates on order to customers (e.g. shipping info)
- the ease of importing and syncing products with shopify One thing I'd recommend they improve is the quality of their mockups. On Gelato, they look alright, but when imported into shopify, they are something not as clear especially when zoomed in.
