I'm new to shopify and to this app as well. But I definitely like this app the minute I use this, for I can create almost everything that's needed for my shopify page, yet more beautiful and neat. I like how it works. It's easy to use and I must say, the CS team is perfect. I love chatting with this guy on the dialogue box. He's a great helper.

Love the GemPages app and BY FAR the BEST support I've ever had from any app on Shopify! And we are just testing the free version right now. Plus, it's the ENTIRE team that is amazing. I have worked with at least 5 different support staff and they all know what's going on and pick up right where the previous person left off with no issues and without me needing to re-explain anything. Not sure how they do it but it makes upgrading to the paid version a no brainer!

The best page builder app I've used for Shopify.
Fairly quick to learn and very flexible compared to other page builders.

Great support team, they helped me with tips on editing the CSS within an hour of me requesting help.

Only drawback is that there are a few "customizable elements" that have fairly limited customisation settings. Hence, the need to edit the CSS.

Over all, worth it compared to other page building apps.

Perfect for someone with moderate to high design skills/experience, but limited knowledge of web design.

I use this application recently, but I find it very responsive with lots of modern template! advisors are at your disposal to help you solve your problem, I recommend of course!

I have been using GemPages for about a year now and I am beyond frustrated.

Our Gempage load time is Over 20 seconds per page. All images optimized.

The more pages we made the slower our site became and it wasn't until it was too late that we found the issue.

I wish I could post the screenshot of our page load waterfall. Take 8 seconds for gem pages to load, Before... any other script will load.

Support was no help at all. In fact they tried to say it wasn't gem pages fault when they could clearly see the 8 seconds of GemPages as #1 load. Still they try to blame JS and 3rd party apps. This is not the case and it is clear to anyone.

Use this app if you only need to create one or two pages. Not if you are creating more.

Let me explain how bad this is. When I try to search for a file in the theme directory, the page crashes. Gem pages create a system that every page you create will be a new page template file within your theme directory. We we have hundreds of pages and it is has completely crippled our website. But, gempages does not care.

GemPages has been great but what's even better is the support. I had some bugs that I couldn't fix myself, Phoebe from GemPages Support gave me tremendous help, and solved all my website issues very quickly. A real lifesaver. Shout out to Phoebe, very thankful for her and the technical team's help.

I used gempages 1 year ago and now come back and it's good app to design your missions. I highly recommend this app.

Very user friendly for novices like myself - I would recommend it to those who want an easy, drop and drag way to improve the look of their website.
