GemPages Landingpage‑Builder

I really like GemPages and it's features, it makes it easy to build out the site. BUT, unfortunately it greatly impacts the speed and performance of my website and it's a big issue. Every developer I hire tells me that GemPages is the biggest issue my site has. In order to provide the best experience to customers, GemPages really needs to find a way to make their builder function within Shopify better. The annual fee and having to constantly find a developers is just too much to worry about.

GemPages is a great tool to work with – user-friendly and full of features. What I especially appreciate is the fast and clear communication. They responded quickly, thought along with me, and everything was resolved neatly. My page now works as it should and looks clean and professional.
In short: great service, pleasant collaboration, and definitely recommended.

The app is really amazing once you get over the learning curve. It took me about two tries before understanding how things work. Annie from customer service was amazing. I had an issue with how it looked when I published a product page, but they were able to fix the issue in no time. I would definitely recommend this app. So many choices for pages. So incredible.

Gempages is a great tool, you almost can do as much as if you were using wordpress. There is still some room for improvement but they are working on it. The support for sure gets 5 stars as they are quick to reply and come up with solutions most of the time!

All their representatives are easy to talk to and always try to understand your needs and concerns. They provide advice, suggestions, and steps to solve your concerns. The app has a user-friendly environment, allowing you to follow the step-by-step guide provided by a representative. They also offer various options to get the design you want for your site pages. This app has amazing customer support, they are quick to help even late at night. Sarah has helped me out a lot! I am super impressed with their team to say the least. The app builder itself is great, it reminds me a lot of Elementor which I use for Wordpress but honestly, I think Gem pages is much easier to use. If you are even somewhat familiar with building websites, this is a much better option vs. hiring an expensive "shopify expert" to code for you.

I think this app will be beneficial. There are plenty of videos and printed text to explain things. It's just there is so much to get a handle on. The chat help function is slow to get connected to someone to help out. Once I did get someone to help me, he was very knowledgeable and answered my questions quickly.

Positives - very easy to use, much more flexibility and design options than you have with Shopify's built in page builder. So the ultimate final product is much better and more attractive.

Negative - stunning wait times for assistance, and the current V7 doesn't allow you to break up any information in the standard Shopify product description (as the app description says it does) so the Product Description module has zero flexibility, which is a BIG problem for templates, since I have a serious need for this kind of function.

The entire support team at GemPages are amazing. Always so helpful and explain things along the way. Although responses can take some time, they always respond no matter how busy they are.
The app itself is easy to use once you navigate your way around and get used to it's functions. The ability to optimise between different devices is pivotal to my line of business and this app does it with ease. Great options and templates across all layouts.
