I don't think there's enough I could say about GemPages to help people truly comprehend how amazing their platform is.

It takes a little bit of trial and error to understand how to effectively operate, but after roughly one day of playing around with their app I am in complete awe over the functionalities available.

I've been able to convert our homepage from the standard sectioned theme available in Shopify to exactly what I want to be able to do and see. Thank you, GemPages.

I signed up for the app for not more than a month. I like it so far! Customer service is great. I hope it will continue to be a good experience.

UPDATE - after I posted a negative review, a support rep named Janie came to the rescue and was able to fix the problem in 5 minutes.
If you are running into an issue, I recommend you ask for her directly in order to save time and sanity.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE OF AN APP.
Spent two whole days working on a page, only to get a red "internal server error" popup when I hit the Publish button.
Contacted support thinking this would be fixed, 3 days later I feel like blowing my brains out. The whole conversation is completely absurd, it’s like talking to a prototype robot from the 80’s (except they have a korean idol as their avatar). I think I’m being pranked, it’s the only explanation that makes sense.

It doesn’t seem like they are even looking into this bug, so not only did I lose 2 days of work, I also have been losing my mind trying to properly communicate with them, only to get zero help & zero answer as to why this is happening or how to get the friggin page finally published.

Very nice tool to use. You can customize almost anything from the page.

Customer service is also really good. Worked until late night to fix the issue.

Highly recommended.

I've tried all of the major Shopify Page Builders. Only Shogun and GemPages are worth using. Shogun is a little more polished than GemPages, everything is a little more responsive and slightly easier to use, and their templates are a lot better. However, Gempages is a much better value. Even with their $300/month plan, Shogun doesn't offer unlimited pages. So for someone like me who uses Shopify as a blogging platform with occasional A/B testing, Gempages is a much better fit. I think that as GemPages continues to improve their product, they could overtake Shogun at some point. Edit Jun 2022: After using this plugin for a bit, I have to revise my rating. With lots of effort and working around bugs, it's possible to make pages with this tool. But it's a real chore. Stupid things happen all the time when you create pages: like text losing formatting, text having additional formatting you didn't give it, changes you make on mobile breaking things on desktop, or just simple things like there being no easy way to insert your saved custom blocks at a specific place on the page. I don't like using this tool and will be moving onto an alternative ASAP.

This tool is exactly what I have been looking for. As a User Experience designer for my day job, I want control over details, but I don't want to get into the weeds of coding for my own website. GemPages is both powerful and easy. This team has done a wonderful job producing this tool. I look forward to working with them for years to come.

the app slow down the website performance, and the worst thing is the the support team, firstly, they reply late, at this moment of this message, they didn't replied to message sent 3 days ago.... all thing is bad, nothing good.
if i was able to rate you with no stars i would do it.
