Sorry but the app is full of bugs. No one function works as it should. No pop up appears, position can not be fixed top or bottom. better you review it completely

Hi there, can you please send us an email to cross-border-support@shopify.com wit your store details so we can investigate this for you? A pop up will not appear if you are in the default location of your store. We would love to remedy this for you.

Shopify recently changing this app was a horrible decision. I sell digital products so the fact that it says 'Shipping to (country)' is not something for me, but there is no way to change the text or remove the pop-up? Horrible.

Very poor user interface options. The popup is too aggressive: if 80% of your traffic goes to a location where the language by default is ok and the rest (20%) needs the function of geolocation, you solve the problem for the 20%, but you still have 80% of your traffic impacted by this useless popup as the first thing they see in your website. On the other hand, if you choose not the pop up, but the footer, it is a footer with, again, a very poor UI options that stays at the bottom of the website and nobody sees. This app is not even a minimum option or solution. I would have expected much more from a Shopify App, really.

Hi there, thank you for your review. The pop up does not appear for everyone - only those who there is a recommendation for. E.g. if your site defaults to English and USD, someone who speaks English and is located in the United States will not see a pop up. If someone from Canada lands on your site, they will see a pop up to switch to Canada and CAD. This has been proven to increase conversion for international visitors.

Pop plugin used to show up however it suddenly just stopped. Not showing the language and country pop up at all, still waiting for Shopify to solve this issue.

La fenetre contextuelle ( Pop-up ) est vue comme un spam pour la publicité facebook. C'est très mauvais d'utiliser cette application !

Have issues with the app and customer service blames everything else but the app. Exchanged endless emails between Shopify and my developer, demonstrated the issue explicitly and yet it seems that there is a monkey on the other end just following line per line orders. USELESS!

I don't even remember getting this app and suddenly there's a pop-up informing customers that there is a country-specific version of the website. Cannot recommend

Hi there, when you start selling in additional currencies, Geolocation automatically guides your buyers to the right currency which results in an increase in conversion. If you don't want to guide your customers and instead just give them the chance to manually switch, then you can turn the recommendations off.

We were previously using the Geolocation app to show a higher price to users from Switzerland. A few days ago, we got a warning from Google Shopping, claiming that we are violating a policy by doing this. They disapproved a few items. We then proceeded to remove the Geolocation app from the Shopify store. After solving the issue we contacted google and asked to check it from their site. Here is the problem: Google is still seeing a different price whenever they access the site. How can we stop the price from being changed? What could the problem be?

Hi there - unfortunately the Geolocation app is not the source of your problem here. I would recommend speaking to the app or service that is providing your product feeds from Shopify to Google. If that is Shopify's Google Shopping channel, our support team can help you with this directly.

Google found this app as malicious software and suspended our ads, do not use. We are trying to fix the problem but really not worth it. Please send me an email(sales@bodymassager.com.au), I am happy to provide you with an email from google. I couldn't find your email address. Thanks.

Can you please provide us with some more details here via our support team? Geolocation is used on thousands of stores and this is the first time we have had such a report. We'd really appreciate more information! Thanks.
