Hi there, thanks for your review - this app only works with Shopify Payments. Unfortunately you are using Stripe as your primary gateway.

i used below code in my store {% form 'localization' %} {% for country in localization.available_countries %} {{ country.name }} ({{ country.iso_code }}) - {{ country.currency.symbol }} {% endfor %}
{% endform %} on clicking the update button it appends /?shpxid=a65e5c42-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx in the URL. defeating the whole purpose of using this

Hi there, this is appended to your URL to allow for cross domain tracking. Is there a reason this defeats the purpose of the solution for you?

I tried this app once and it wouldn't work properly. I deleted it and contacted my theme build to see if I could move the currency converter to a more prominent spot on my site. They directed me back to this app. I re-downloaded it and right away it said it can't support my store. I reached out to the support team and all you said was you were working on it. The ratings on this app speak for themselves. I would love a solution if there was one.

Geolocation goes hand in hand with Shopify Markets. However, Shopify Markets is beta and isn't very efficient in performing and redirecting customers to their respective currency. It keeps bouncing back to default currency of store as customers shops from home page to collection page to products all the way to checkout. You also cant disable Shopify Markets to by pass this issue and pretty much stuck with the issue at the mercy of Shopify Devs until they fix it. Our store worked seamlessly when we were using a third party app to show various different currencies and redirection. The geolocation app also doesn't give you much option to pick the placement of the currency selector. You have left, right and centre, but the selector is all the way at the bottom of the website where no customer goes. Request was made to move the selector to either the menu or a floater to make it more visible but request was denied. These issues are costing us lots of $$ from international customers and you cant even disable them or use other apps to resolve it. Sucks to be a Plus member at the moment paying 2000$ a month with such glitchy features which are in beta. We also tried the pop up method where it asks customer if they would like to go to their local country website. However that pop up would not show up until 5 mins later. Shopify plus support team member told us to hire an expert dev to speed up website and it should fix the issue, we did that and the issue continues to remain. Thats one way of flushing 500$ down the toilet. Hope they fix these glitches asap.

Worse translation app there is. It just dosent work, simply just does not work. The popup for a country code will auto set to english, and it wont even translate

Hi there, this is not a translation app. It is an app that will direct your customers to the right experience based on their location. If you need a translation app I would suggest trying: https://apps.shopify.com/translate-and-adapt

I was disappointed to know that the orders made with a different currency can't be edited and I think this is a very feature of this app because it limits our sales and customer service performance

Hi there, this is not a limitation of the Geolocation app - unfortunately multi currency orders cannot be edited in general at the moment and is something we will be working on separately.

If I could give zero stars I would, BEWARE of this app!!! Somehow this was installed in our store, (Shopify still looking into how & wait for a response) We have had inventory issues and weird things happening to our platform not mention sales channel getting turned off and being hacked. Not sure if all related. Have since deleted the app.

App shows "Error" message, it is impossible to use it. It would have been great, that's disappointing

It can only show EUR as a currency. Which i do not understand why even make a currency auto switcher when the only currency is EUR. Asking a shopify support guy and they dont know why it is that also and he will forward it to technical support.

But we know that there are 1 people working on the app and there are 0 support within the app. This is the CON of Shopify making their own apps. As they make it, then upload it to app store and then just leave and there are no support. The support link just go directily to the app site, where the only suopport you can get is to leave a review and wait for answer. Great

Hi there - sorry to hear about this frustrating experience. The reason it is only showing EUR is because that is the only currency you have enabled in Shopify Markets. You can change this by going to Settings --> Markets, selecting a country you want to offer the local currency for (e.g. Denmark), and then changing it to the local currency for that country under "Products and Pricing." If you have any questions don't hesitate to let us know!
