The app is great and does exactly what we need it to do - the best features are that you can opt to send digital or physical gift cards, and customers can schedule when they want digital cards to be sent in the future. This app adds features and gives access to Shopify's built-in gift card functionality that was only available to Shopify Plus customers until now. I've been looking for a solution like this for a long time. The developer is very responsive, even adding new functionality I've requested within a day. The service had been incredible and, for the first time, gives us the ability to add, update, and deactivate gift cards in bulk. We are also building an integration with our internal systems using the Gift Hero APIs to allow our employees and students to charge items on account. And best of all, we can do all this with a fair flat monthly fee. Most all other gift card solutions demand a percentage cut of sales. I highly recommend this app.
