Rise.ai: Gift Cards & Loyalty

I use this app to help me manage all my gift card options. Its a great product and enables to generate additional revenue easily

A little premature, but I have shopped and configured enough apps to know this one is above the rest. Great enthusiastic human support. So far, top notch!

At Serve Coffee, we believe in better coffee for our clients and improved lives for those at origin. We also think that coffee makes a great gift that coffee lover's can enjoy every day. Gift Wizard makes gift giving very easy for our clients.

While support is remote, the support staff has been very helpful.

Just started with this app, very easy to navigate/set up gift cards and the customer service is spot on!

The app is very expensive for what it is. I've had the app installed for a few months now and have not received any increase in revenue or customer retention. In fact, the majority of customers choose not to sign up for a loyalty card and prefer to proceed straight to checkout. Plus, they advertise their RISE.AI logo in all of the automated emails to customers. It doesn't make sense to have another companies logo on your website for free if you are paying for their service.

Terribly expensive, almost feels like a scam. The app charges for orders which are coming on our store and have nothing to do with a usage of the app. The fees are even higher per order than Shopify's own % order fee.

This app does not work, is not supported, and should not be used. Developers claim a version 2 is on the way, but in the meantime they have dropped all support of the current version and should remove the app from the store.

Edit: I've revised this review from 1 star to 3. The development team contacted me after the original review and were quick explain that a breakdown in communication had occurred and the app was indeed supported and functional. They promptly installed the app and worked with me in testing it.

Sadly, the app has a number of fairly serious bugs, all of which could have been overcome, I think. But the app requires us to manually input shipping addresses one line at a time (you can't even copy/paste the entire address). We do enough volume that the idea of manually inputting shipping addresses for fulfillment is unthinkable. The app seems designed for use by stores who do very small volume. We do anywhere from 100s to 1000s of orders a week and Gift Wizard in its current state has no means to support that kind of business.

I'll certainly be interested in taking another look if the shipping address issue and other bugs are addressed.

Great looking and user friendly app. I just installed it so I don't yet have feedback on the ROI. I took me half a day to install and personnalise it (including traduction of all texts in French). I had some minor difficulties but Keren from the support center has been a great help and fixed everything for me. She was very reactive and nice.

Very impressed with this app so far. Solid functionality and support has been over-the-top fantastic helping me get things set up exactly as I want.
