Rise, like all official Shopify apps, can be uninstalled within your "App and sales channels" settings page on the Shopify admin.
I can see that our support assisted you with this within a few minutes of reaching out. If there are still any ongoing issues we would be more than happy to continue assisting you on our existing thread.
Very difficult to use. Does not support stores with subdomains. Also encountered problems, customer service support was very slow to respond. Not recommended!!

Very bad experince with that app if you are going to install it beware from it the reason is that they just only want your subscription there app is not problem solving we have purchased their premium plan to issue our customer store credit we created the flow that is ok but it is not runing not added any store credit to the customer when we connect with support they just only answer that we are trying our best and you will surprise that their response time is 3 to 4 hours not serious with their customer they just only want subscription from their customer after wasting our 4 days on this app we found the credityard app very good app, good customer support and solved our problem.bloddy hell app rise.ai

DO NOT USE this app if you're looking for a VIP-tier-based loyalty program. The app can be configured to send out an email when a customer "unlocks" a tier... however, the app does not explicitly tell customers what tier they're on nor allows them to easily track their progress toward other tiers. Imagine logging into a rewards program with your credit card, airline, or hotel and not being able to see what your status is. This app is broken until they figure this out.

Sold $100 in gift cards and paid $120 in fees. This fee structure makes no sense.

Hi there, we want to assure you that we never charge merchants without their explicit approval. As an official Shopify app we can only charge what brands select as their pricing terms. You can see these terms during the plan selection and billing authorization process.

The app is not secure. Fraud was committed for more than a year using rise gift cards in our online store before we caught it. We found dozens of orders that used various names and shipping addresses that were paid solely with rise gift cards that were fraudulently created. Example: one "customer" had generated hundreds of $5 gift cards and put them toward 12 different orders over the course of a year. All gift cards were issued under different names and e-mail addresses, but all gift cards were put toward a single order. This happened over and over with other "customers." There seems to be a system since goods all shipped to different addresses. This has resulted in thousands of dollars in shipping and inventory lost. We contacted Rise, requested a refund for all 2022 and 2023, but we also feel this should be noted that this is even possible. Our team is floored. We had no issues to our knowledge 2019, 2020, or 2021. The problems we have found so far all started 2022.
We've uninstalled this app from our store and now see an outrageous charge for $1919.88 on our bill - What is going on?

Just no. If you ever change levels, they will charge you the old platform fee + the new platform fee in the same month (paying double essentially). No usage days taken into consideration, which should be illegal frankly. We had to fight with them to get a refund. And their platform isn't very good... yet we ended up paying them $2k. I would not use this platform if I were you and if you do, be very careful about changing levels and the extra charges that they tack on. There are other options that aren't after your wallet. And BONUS, the make it hard for you to cancel. BONUS BONUS, you have to pay for your usage rate based on the quantity of orders you have as a store including ones that are totally unrelated to this platform (99.9% of ours were).

We used this app for a over a year and is extremely expensive for what it offers and the results it delivered - we didn't really find any major shift in increased sales or customer experience compared to what we used before (which was Shopify Gift Cards).
Also, when we uninstalled we learned a pretty harsh lesson - be aware that when you uninstall or remove the app, your customers won't be able to open the link to the original gift card sent to them - which is totally wrong & unfair to the customer as well as the brand. We were under the assumption that you can retrieve it via the Shopify backend. Additionally, if there was any expiration date associated with the Gift Card, then it would not honour it as well once the app has been uninstalled. I don't know how the app approval works but I am surprised this type of stuff was even accepted by Shopify.
Overall, a pretty ordinary experience having spent a lot of time & money on this for well over a year - wouldn't recommend!

Any active code created through Rise.ai remains fully redeemable, with no dependency on the app being installed. Unfourtunetly, some functionality that is dependent on data that is not stored after a store removes an app cannot be supported as we don't keep customer data after the app is removed (we are GDPR compliant).
We also offer a detailed reporting system that allows you to export customer data related to Rise activities at any time while the app is still installed.
