Rise.ai: Gift Cards & Loyalty

Surprised how good this app goes for creating a loyalty program. Rewards are with real money, not with points. This is much better to make the customer come back and use their credit.

We have a complicated workflow where customers receive a bonus on top of their 5% rewards if they hit certain thresholds. This caused a glitch in how rise handled the rewards and sometimes gave customers double rewards. After some back and forth with Rise which took a while they have mostly fixed this and have also compensated us for the customers who received and redeemed more than they should have. The app does not give you great reporting to be able to monitor this situation or view pending rewards and as such it took me a while to catch this error. If they fix reporting and we confirm this app is working properly I will raise my review again.

I use canva to create the image for the cards and then rise.ai make them look fabulous in the card. I am very impressed with this app!

We changed our store rewards system over to Rise from the Smile app. So far it is proving easier to use for both us and for the customer. The support team efficiently helped us import thousands of customer rewards balances into store credit.

We are much happier with a store credit system that uses the Shopify gift card mechanism, over our previous points based system that used Shopify promo codes. Customers were previously frustrated that they had to trade in 'points' for a voucher code that then couldn't be used alongside other promo codes so we were often having to void vouchers and manually re add points so that customers could continue to save.

With the Rise app, our customers are more aware of the rewards system and it is instant. As soon as it was live, a customer used their store credit because their balance was visible at the cart which is a fantastic feature.

In addition, we especially love the neat gift card product feature that customers can personalise for the recipient.

Looking forward to seeing this increase customer loyalty further and improve gift card sales.
