Gist | Gift Card Pro Tools

We installed this app to enable customers to purchase and send gift cards to recipient emails, and to schedule when they were delivered. We did not have the ability to do this on our Shopify store. I was under a deadline to get the app working so we could advertise gift cards in an SMS campaign the next day. Tim worked with me to address my issues, even going as far as hopping on a Zoom call to walk me through the configuration questions I had. Out of all the 3rd party apps we have installed on our store, Gift Card Pro definitely has the best customer service. It's so rare that I get a same-day response, let alone within minutes.

This is a stellar and quite simply essential app. It has answered all of the functional deficiencies posed by the native gift card solution and is ably supported by the team at Gist. Obviously, Shopify's gift card experience is lacking. We tried another gift card service and oddly they charged us .25 per order on ANY order. Not just gift cards. Seemed a little greedy. This pricing is extremely fair and I love the UX. It took me no more than 5 minutes to set up! Gist has such a great selection of apps. Our store is literally running on Gist right now! Their customer service and support is top notch. They go above and beyond.

Our previous gift card program felt antiquated in its approach to both the sender and the recipient experience. We switched over to Gift Card Pro in hopes that we could provide a more feature-rich offering and it didn't disappoint! The GCP team is also incredibly helpful and willing to provide assistance however they can, even going so far as to be proactive about optimizations that can be made on a site. I highly recommend!
