How it works:

Step 1: Choose A Gift

• When shopping, a customer can click on “Gift This Item,” and enter the recipient's email address and a personal note. There is no need to select the variant at this point.

Step 2: Personalize the Gift

• The gift recipient will receive an email in their inbox alerting them to the gift. The email will include the personal note and a link to your store to “Accept The Gift.”
• The recipient will choose their size, color and any other variants on the original product in your store. They can also write a personalized thank you note back to the gift giver.

Step 3: Send the Gift

• A final email will be sent to the gift giver with the note and a link back to the correct variant on your site. They can then check out as they normally would using the address provided by the recipient.
• Ta da! A great gift has been purchased and shipped to the correct address. You’ve made a new sale and decreased your risk of processing any returns or exchanges. A simple stress-free gift giving experience for everyone.
