I installed for my mother's day gift sets and it works wonderfully! I am very pleased, it does everything that I needed and then some.
We've constantly gotten request from buyers over the past few months to implement a way to send care packages to multiple addresses. This was an easy and very cost effective solution! We have some complicated code on our theme and Kevin was incredibly helpful in ensuring the app not only worked properly, but plugged into our theme in a clean way. Really excited for our customers to start using this!

I use Gift Ship on my shopify website and love how simple it is to use. I recently had an issue with delivery dates not being printed on my order confirmation email. After unsuccessfully trying to fix it myself I contacted Dhopify who put me onto GS help. While they are based in Canada and I’m in Australia, this didn’t affect their responsiveness in helping me fix my issue. All done in a few hours. Brilliant service.

We used Multiship for over a year, and recently stepped over on Giftshop to use even more features. Whereas most features are very self-explanatory, the service team is always super fast and helpful whenever I can't get things figured out myself. Big thumbs up for an excellent service.
This app saved us thousands in development costs. Works perfectly out of the box. Their customer service is also above and beyond stellar. Tim was so extremely helpful. We are really glad we found this app.

Alright, let me break down my full experience with GiftShip. I first came across this app 1 year ago, and I implemented it on my website. I knew exactly what I wanted, but back then they did not have it all the capabilities, and I ended up leaving. We just recently came back to GiftShip, and the difference in capability, workflow, and a huge improvement in UX has been tremendous. Picking any paid service is like picking a partner in business, and we are very careful with that. We try to pick wisely. Now, congratulations to the team on the massive growth, and major improvements in the platform. And also for Tim, for being an awesome Merchant Support filled with wise coding knowledge and fast turnaround. The company is lucky to have you!
So far I've been really pleased with this app versus others I've tried. Load times are not too bad. I don't know how it deals with multi-currency yet. The standard layouts on the box bundler are pretty good and intuitive. And the bundler gives lots of options of how to assemble them, which is great. And being able to really control discounts on them is great. The gift messaging function works great. There's a couple of improvements could be made with the one-click add-ons, versus other products already out there, as it can be laborious making them. Support has been great so far. Had my first issue sorted within 2 hours.
Great customer support! We had an app conflict from changes we made to our theme and the team at Gist was on it to help fix things on the back end. They even took time to create a Loom vid to show us what was going on.
What kind of customer service is this?? We DID PAY. Our business is not operating yet, we do not make a single penny, so every little amount spent weighs a lot. But we were still fine with paying 60 bucks for this app. We accidentally delete it on August 4th BEFORE we get charged (on August 5th), hence want to reinstall the app. Then we're asked to pay again since we do not have an active subscription. Our receipt First CS guy, understands the issue after 3 explanatory emails. Claims he would forward it to his development team to provide a solution. Never heard back from him or development team. So after 8 days, I ask again and second CS guy, (apparently the first one went on vacation..?) never seems to understand the issue and just tells us this was standard behavior and if we had credit, we'd get that. I have a receipt and a not-functioning app to prove the opposite but apparently they don't care. VERY disappointing. There had been an issue before, where we were told - by the same support staff - as long as we're on a pause-and-build plan, we wouldn't get charged for a subscription. That turned out to be wrong. We did get charged, but were able to get a refund. And now, that we were actually willing to pay, we can't use it..?!?

When Apps are installed on Shopify, a billing charge must be accepted in order for you to gain access to the App. This is standard behaviour across all Apps.
As you haven't accepted the billing charge, you will not be able to use the app. We've mentioned this in a couple of emails, but please let me know if you would like to hop on a Zoom call, and we'd be more than happy to get everything sorted out for you.

This app has been great and fits our needs perfectly. The company that owns this app also has been very helpful in answering my questions and has helped assist in various requests. I am really looking forward to the new look of the box builder that comes out next month.
We've been using Giftship for 18 months and the features are great. We've had a few issues with the gift message bundling, but after some problems getting it resolved initially, Zac was able to step in and deal with the issue really efficiently. Everything is now working well and we're benefitting from the whole suite of one-stop shop features, which is great and why we chose Giftship in the first place!

The app was a huge help for customers splitting orders, although it was sometimes confusing on shipstation. For example, if a user leaves a gift message' it doesn't fill in the personal message part in shipstation. I had to rewrite that manually each time, which got cumbersome. Another thing that would be helpful is to have the 'delivery time' customized to say 'estimated delivery' of 'estimated shipment'. folks were very angry with us on delivery dates as we can't really control that, so some option here with flexible times would be super cool. We are seasonal and won't be using Giftship until next year. We'll use them again as it helped our customers big time. Thanks again!
The App works exactly as I hoped. I needed some Theme tweaking to make it look exactly the way I wanted, but Tim went WAY over and above to make sure the App looked and functioned exactly the way I needed it to. Highly recommend!!
So far so good! This app is much easier to use with our shop than trying to hassle with other apps. No longer have weight or shipping confusion! And also have access to more features we were looking for too.

Giftship was excellent to work with. They understood our software needs and customized our platform.
We recently changed to giftship from another app we had used for a number of years to help with better functionality for our shipping. We have previously used another app for our gift hamper service The Botanica Box. Having recently engaged another web designer for our latest business, Foliar (a florist) we were recommended to use Giftship for that. We were so impressed by the extra functionality included cut off times that could be set to our local time and Clearer entries for note card entry. We decided to also change this over to our gift hamper service. It was easy to set up, but I just needed help to remove sections of code that are not needed now. The response I received from support was incredible and they were able to resolve the issue immediately. I could not be happier with the app itself and the support as well
Loving this app so far. The dev team were able to address install and technical issues right away including an additional theme issue that was affected.
I was having trouble with multiple shipping showing up on my drawer style cart, and support was very helpful in helping me get it set up! highly recommend this app.

The app was very easy to install and set up. I had a few questions about personalizing it for my store, and the tech support was amazing! I am not tech savvy at all, and they went above and beyond to ensure the app was working exactly how I wanted it to. I had both a phone call as well as a zoom call with different members from the team to address my questions. Would highly recommend!
Not impressed with the support provided to me during my demo trial period. The support was so poor I decided to cancelling account / removing. It took 4 days into 7 day trail to receive a response (after two emails / and VM). One issue was solved by pointing me to a FAQ and being told its work right. (PopUp carts are not compatible). Second issue was basically ignored. Third issue was data flow to Shippingeasy. Its simply impossible with Shippingeasy to have a product level gift message print on their platform. Documentation shows they are compatible, but the compatibility is simply Giftship/Shopify API sending out the data. After a great calls with Shippingeasy (not Giftship) support - they confirmed they do not have the ability to parse/ print the message. I asked for an extension to try and resolve or find work-around but was refused and told the product is working correctly. Decided it was not in the best interest of my company to continue when a new user is given sub-par support.

When 3rd party apps and themes require more manual integration than out-of-the-box apps allow, it can take a bit more back and forth during the onboarding process to get everything working well. Hopefully we can pick up the dialogue and get everything sorted out!

I used this app for both multishipping and for gift message. Worked great, and the app developers were very helpful and responsive. I recommend using this app.

I am super impressed with the customer support from the Giftship team!! I needed some help getting the app set up with my theme, and they jumped right in and took care of it. They even went the extra step of looking at how I had things configured and suggesting a change for a better user experience. We just started using the app, but in my testing it seems quite user-friendly and intuitive. I think customers will find the same.
I am loving this app so far! I am pretty pleased with all the fonctionalities and how it blends in perfectly with my gift store and also the really good customer service.
We really love the gift message option, as we sell artisan sweets typically given as gifts. The app offers so many other features that we are excited to tap into as well. Customer service is very prompt and friendly. I'm not very tech savvy, and the team has been very polite and helpful.

The only thing better than what this app provides is their customer support. I requested a specific customization on my product pages, and Tim reached out and had it done in no time flat.
After installing this app, multiple addresses feature was working quite well. But after some days, this feature is not working properly. After adding multiple addresses to the products on cart page it shows an error "No Shipping Rate Available" and does not proceed to checkout.

It's so nice to be able to offer shipping to multiple addresses within 1 order! Not only that, we have set up the date picker to allow people to schedule their flower deliveries for upcoming occasions for up to a year in advance.
