I love using this app; their customer service goes above and beyond! The app has fantastic features, and I found answers to my questions quickly in their excellent FAQ section. When I had a little trouble with how my cart page looked, I reached out, and Jasyon got back to me quickly, spending time to fix the issue. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this app!

If you just need an app that will allow you to send shipments to another address this app will work for you. However, if you care about the analytics of your website DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. Not only will this app inflate your order numbers (each GiftShip order counts as 2 orders) but it will also miscalculate your financial analytics. This does not mean you won't get paid what you are owed, it means that you will not be able to distinguish what you actually MADE through GiftShip. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out financial analytics including hours on support calls with BOTH Shopify and Gist and it was determined that the API between Gist and Shopify is faulty and Gist was unable to figure out how to send appropriate data to Shopify for store owners to get accurate meaningful analytics.

Thank you for the feedback, and we are sorry to hear of your frustration.

Just to clear up the wording here, there is no API issue at play here. It's through the leveraging of Draft Orders, that on the analytics side, a filter simply needs to be added to have reports amended accurately. This can be common amongst use cases that leverage Draft Orders.

I use Gift Ship on my shopify website and love how simple it is to use. I recently had an issue with delivery dates not being printed on my order confirmation email. After unsuccessfully trying to fix it myself I contacted Dhopify who put me onto GS help. While they are based in Canada and I’m in Australia, this didn’t affect their responsiveness in helping me fix my issue. All done in a few hours. Brilliant service.
