Do not install this app. The products don't sync to your feed and it DELETES your existing feeds, so you pretty much have to start from scratch with your google merchant account if you use this app. How does shopify seriously roll out functionality like this that is clearly broken!
I installed the Google sales channel in my Shopify store. Did everything Google requested to be in compliance. All my products keep getting kicked back disapproved due to invalid barcodes. Barcodes are valid and issued from my supplier. In the process of trying to get it resolved my Google ads account was SUSPENDED. Not once but twice. Still trying to get the suspension resolved is a complete and total waste of time and inconvenience.It seems I am not the only one having issues with invalid bar codes this app shouldn't even be listed on the store until the issues with Google can be fixed.

Even if your store runs in USD do not waste your time with this app it is a complete mess. We were running successful Google Shopping campaigns with the old Google Shopping app but were forced to upgrade to this new one. Almost all our valid UPC numbers were being reported as not valid gtin numbers after the switch. Shopify support said they must not be valid, but some were working while others not but all UPC numbers were purchased in the same batch. We provided proof of the actual UPC scans to show they were entered correctly but Shopify still says the problem is on our end. Going to switch to a different feed app and see what happens then, will update this review with the results.
June 9th update: We installed the Google Shopping feed app from Adwords Robot and everything is working great again. Nothing changed on our end so our UPC numbers were not invalid as reported by the Shopify Google Shopping app. Really disappointed with Shopify support in regards to this app, they are usually great but in this case they either couldn't or wouldn't address the real problem and forced us to find a different solution. Maybe this app works correctly when you're starting a new store but it definitely did not work for us.
Can not connect with my Shopify account. Plain sucks. Shopify does not even have a way for customer support. Seem like a glitch to me

all my products are in Pending and Not Approved, i had change the product info as the app told me, but still NOT APPROVED, i don't know why.
Impossible to get a human. Just a trash service even though we are spending thousands on Google Ad's. Another big tech dumpster fire. My dream is that AI levels their business.

We use Shopify since about two years and we liked it.
Because Shopify is a deliberated shop solution and all is working very well normally.
Till now.
But this new Google Shopping app developed from Shopify is - i must say it so clearly - a shame for Shopify and a classic example for a bad software solution. In comparison to the old (meanwhile unsupported) app version there are a LOT of worsenings.
Here are the main points:
* Products are showing constantly pending status although (!) they have been approved by Google merchant center.
* We had to correct the American and European GTIN numbers of all our products manually because this new app doesn't accept spaces between the numbers (the old version did).
* Only 25 products are displayed per page. This is quite too less for a big assortment and there is no possibilty to show more products per page.
* There is no option to search resp. select specific products - very uncomfortable (the old version had this option).
* There is no more the possibility to sync selected products with Google Merchant Center instantly (the old app had an extra upload button). We used this often to change product prices or to correct product descriptions quickly (these changes appeared in Google Ads ca. 20 min later).
* In our Merchant Center product list all products were listed twice after using this new app (resulting from the former input via the old app) - there was no automised adjustment with the old existing products. We had to clean this manually.
In reaction to our pour experience and to all these negative reviews I really hope Shopify will improve this frustrating app and will present a major update in the near future.

Complete headache and not even remotely intuitive. Wanted to like it because I use Google Adwords. Frustrating.

Forced to change over to this app from an older version and it is totally useless. Doesn't present the correct calculated postage values to Google. Has messed up settings in my Google Merchant Centre. No way to customize the feed at all. Would leave a quarter of a star if possible.
