This app is garbage, Shopify blames Google, and Google blames Shopify. Just got an email from Google. This is regarding over 200 pending items for 7 business days. Here's what it says: Hi Scott, We do not support Shopify as we do not have access to it, which is why I cannot tell what is causing this issue in Shopify. Please contact their support, I hope they can figure this out and get your items approved as soon as possible. If you have additional questions about Google Ads or Google Merchant Center, please let me know by replying to my email. Sincerely,

This stopped working correctly. No longer connects to the Merchant account with a Verified domain if you have an advanced Merchant account. Feeds go to the wrong account. Creating a merchant account creates a new ID as a top-level account and you can't delete them from the Google merchant admin panel, even when logged in as an admin.

Tengo problemas permanentes para sincronizarlo con la tienda. He ido incorporando categorías de los listados de productos google, he ido haciendo mejoras, pero siempre terminan dando un error a los productos.

Shopify feed is not pushing product information to google merchant regularly. This is a consistent issue and when I contact Shopify costumer care these people send one line messages and respond slow most of the times 24 hours later, at this rate I’ll be an old man before these people fix the issues.
Google is no help complete BS service.

Google has to many standard and the rip you off with google ads. For the majority of the time that I had my business my account was suspended with them and I got very little help and next to no customer service.

If you make a mistake to let the app "automatically" import your shipping settings, it will completely wipe out all shipping settings you may created manually. Also, the imported settings will not be applied to Shopping actions (the app does not know about shopping actions, because, like many other apps provided by Shopify it is about 18-24 month behind in functionality). As the result, you will be completely screwed!
Bottom line: the app provides limited functionality and causing a lot of harm

It is true that if you select automatic shipping settings, we wipe what's in your Google Merchant Center account, and we can definitely make that more obvious, and I'll pass that up to our team. We don't support Shopping Actions because right now it's only available in two countries, but we do support Surfaces Across Google, for free listings on Google. I'm going to follow up with you via email to make sure we can do everything possible for you.

I got an email saying "Switch to the new Google Shopping channel before Jan 31, 2018"

This upgrading just wrecked my store selling on Google Shopping and ruined my Facebook Product Catalogs.

It only has a few Generic Google Product Categories. From the total 5,405 Google Product Categories, you get a drop list of only 14 choices and "OTHER."

14 out of 5,000? NUTS!

When I upgraded, it lost the Product Categories, Gender, and Age for over 1,000 products.

I have over 1,000 products with no way to bulk update. I have to update and save each product one by one in a web browser.

Image the downtime, lost sales and labor cost!!! No bulk edit. No CSV edit. Nothing.

I am ruined.

This thing is not anywhere near being functional for any type of business.

It is like it was made by people with no idea who uses it and what it is used for.

The FOUR MOST IMPORTANT parts of any Google Shopping Feed
1. The Product Category
2. A unique Product UPC Code or Manufacturer Part Number or SKU
3. Shopping campaign labels
4. Bulk Edit critical values

With out those four features, you got nothing that will work for anyone.

pas top, ca me dit constamment que mes articles ne sont pas publiés sur google shop parce que le code barres n'est pas valide, et quand je vais dans le canal google ca me dit que mes articles sont publiés...

Just terrible...I've lost so much time and energy trying to make my products visible in Google Shopping for nothing. I also suspect that adding this app provoked a worse visibility in Google search. All my products are active in Google Merchant Center and I have absolutely no warnings but in the end, none of my products are visible in the Shopping tab ! Only answer from Google (I think I had more than 50 different conversions with google agents) : "this is the algorythm, cannot do anything about that". Shopify support has been also useless and it seems the Content API and the way Shopify and Google are informatically communicating knows many flaws. My advice : don't use this app !!

Avoid it if you can, or at least make it your last priority. I wish I tried to manually set myself up on google rather than use this tool.

Is currently the slowest 3rd party app on my site, will not work out of the box (and may do 'weird' things like add multiple pixels and then connect to the wrong one), and there is 0 support (no contact for months, once I had an employee invite me to a meeting and then not show up) for when your account inevitably gets flagged by some faulty automation.
