Merchant Center is showing misrepresentation due to Shopify and Google not talking to one another - information not syncing - Help! there is an issue here and it appears I am not the only one.

Syncing issue with GMC and Shopify:

UPDATE 16.01.2023 :
Shopify support has now stopped replying to emails and messages. Shopify is refusing to give any information on what is causing the sync issue and when or even if Shopify will be bothered to fix the problem. This has been the most disappointing customer service experience.

Several months ago we moved from a paid app to the free Google Sales Channel app. There were a few issues when setting it up but they were resolved. It has worked reasonably well for the past 6 months. 3 days ago GMC stopped syncing our products from Shopify. I have spent 3 days, dozens of emails and online chats to Shopify and Google to try to get this fixed.

At first, they both denied there was an issue but said they would look into it. Finally today I received an email from Shopify acknowledging, not only that there is an issue but they have been aware of it for some time. That was the last I heard from Shopify. I am still waiting for a response on how to fix this.

If Shopify continues to be unable or unwilling to fix this problem we will most likely be leaving the Shopify platform and taking our business elsewhere.

I gave it ONE STAR only because they will not accept a review with ZERO stars.

Tried Google PPC ads in 2013; ended up spending over $1000 and got ZERO sales from it. OK, so it's 5 years later & everything is different; try again-after spending $249 across 3 weeks, it generated about $0.22 in sales for every $1 spent. This is a formula for ROCKETING to the poorhouse!
Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice? OK, so I've finally learned. NEVER AGAIN!

Every 30 days this app is putting my business in a terrible Setback with lost time and money.
This app is supposed to renew the items automatically before they expire, so they are always active.
And although I was promised by the support team that this will not reoccur.. It Does.
Not only that it happens and I need to keep a daily check on the Merchant account,
I’m waiting for days for it to start renewing items, and e-mailing the support team every morning with a screenshot of the merchant account, and every day I have fewer items to advertise less traffic and less or no sales.
The time to fix this, the loss of business and money on advertising is overwhelming.
A real bad experience.

Products are not syncing at all. I changed product type in April, and two weeks passed the product type in my merchant center is still the older one. Seems nothing will sync except price and available status. Checked Customer Service and got no helpful advice. Is here any pro to help?

UPDATE:
App itself is easy to set up and connect, but there is not enough information about the merchant center. In GMC, i failed to set up "Shopping" under "Growth - Manage Programs" and therefore i could not set up ads. Despite the feed showing up correctly, the column "availability" has always been empty. More and clear instructions on how to set up the merchant center would be very helpful.
ORIGINAL:
This app does not work at all. In my merchant center, the column "availability" is empty despite having enough stock. I tried everything possible in shopify, raised the stock to 1000 of everything. Tried to set up a feed rule... When i have a look at any product, it says "Availability: in stock" Where the F is the effing problem??

Thank you for sharing this feedback. Sometimes if you've used the Google Merchant Center on your account with other apps in the past, connecting to your Shopify store using the Google Shopping app can have some syncing issues. One quick fix is often to disconnect and reconnect the app!

zero if I could. I can not get to my products approved. Continually says product info disapproved - invalid - product data disapproved.
