i have been attempting to remove channels from Google merchant center for several months. It is a terribly cavernous workflow to get simple things done. Just an awful experience.

Having created bespoke pictures of products to fit in with my website, my listings got rejected because of the images. Could not amend feed image details to provide an alternative picture that was OK .

At least a couple of times I've gotten to act "by accident", but only for a short time, until again comes the text "google suspended the account due to misrepresentation" I have tried to ask where the fault is when I simply can't think of? They respond "We have found that your account has been flagged as a misrepresentation policy violation. This policy suspension means that we've reviewed your Google Merchant Center account to determine that it doesn't comply with our Shopping policies and your Google merchant. The account has been rejected" On top of that, suddenly the logo is not valid either, even though the same logo has already been in use for at least a month. I have tried to change it many times, but nothing is valid. I have given up. Really lousy app and dares to pay for asking for the app, which doesn't work. I don't know if an online store can be run at all without google, if not, I have to stop before I've gotten properly even started, really having to head on when I've wasted money and time on something like this, which should be prohibited by law.

Do not install the app "misrepresentation" issues like everybody else. Simply unusable; try something else.

Horrible app. For being a "global" leader, this app and the money you spend is outrageous for NO RETURN!
There is a reason why most Americans can't point to Australia on a map. This app cannot be used outside of the US. As said before, pathetic.
I used this app to approve my products for Google Ads. I read reviews where this app did not work, but still gave it a chance. My product was not approved and I was not given a reason to why my product was not approved. Very disappointed with the app, especially because I read the guidelines and I know my product doesn't break any violations.

My account gets suspended as soon as I submit my products... The support is not helpful. Hence giving it one star.

So I have been using the original google shopping app for long time and without any issues and last few months, I was told that the app I'm using will be discontinued (maybe end of january?). Was told that the original app had too many issues so that is why they are moving to this app. But seems this app has more issues then the previous one and the reason why the first one has issues is that many shopifiers using the app does not know how to bulk edit to comply with google standards. And also talking with google, they are able to override certain errors that show up on shopify. So this clearly unfair to take away the old app for customers who know how to workaround it . I carry roughly 350k items so if it's been working for me for few years then it has to be mostly user error and not the app. I have so many items that percentage of error is higher then most , but mangaed to get it too work. So this review is basically stating to keep the old shopify app. It's quite unfair to just abandon something that was working because so many were not able to workaround the issues and just give up.
It would be fine if it didn't always feed the highest shipping price through to google. Mentioned this to shopify but they didn't seem concerned and told me to look for another app.

I'm glad you left a review about your experience! It's important that we hear from our merchants so we can ensure that the products we create for them actually work for them.
While the Google Shopping app does use the highest shipping price to the Google Merchant Center, you do have the option to select Manual Shipping Settings. I think this would be a good choice for you, since we don't import any shipping data at this point and you have the chance to set up your data directly in the Google Merchant Center!
