This app was working perfectly fine for us up until around 30th DEC 2022 but maybe it quit prior to that? Since then, we've had no product updates and as a result, our pricing on Google is incorrect. We've tried uninstalling the app, and connecting our Google account again but still, no products are being synced. Also it's saying many products will expire....need help please!

Chris here from Shopify I recognize that you have products expiring soon and have faced sync issues for some time now; however, there was an error with the channel that was preventing data from reaching Google. This has now been resolved and you should see your products sync shortly. I'll send you an email to review specific details for your store.

Like the others, we've been using this app for years with no issues, and now, with the update earlier this year, it's challenging to navigate adjusting items for your feed. Bulk editing is excellent, but there needs to be a way to make simple corrections directly within the product. It's ridiculous that we have to navigate out of the product to make a correction for our Google feed. I'm very frustrated with this as we have nearly 40k pieces that change by the season.
Yes, my merchant success manager tried to help, we didn't get very far. Still, considering that what Shopify deems our categories should belong in is never anywhere close to where Google actually needs them to be just adds to the chaos. If we give it a few more weeks, Shopify will introduce a new paid app to fix this, as that seems to be what they do. :/

William here from Shopify, thank you so much for taking your time to review the Google channel app. We've been working closely with Google and the future of the Google channel is that Google owns the development and direction of the app. We're able to assist them and I don't know of any plans to release a new paid app that fixes the problem you described, instead I'll get this feedback over to Google for additional support.

why were google metafields (category,sizes,colors,gender) removed on product page? is not an update but a downgrade. all products must be subsequently processed again. App no longer recommended.

The product sync suddenly lost connection without any notification. We have lost significant revenue because of this. And as at today, around half month after the issue happen, there is no update from Shopify and no one contacted us. I am desperately looking for solution but could not find any. Seriously disappointed.

okay experience, a few issues getting my products to show on google says my products are not synced, store not setup properly. please help

I understand at the time of the review there was some syncing issues occurring with the Google Channel, but these have been resolved now.

This app is simply a disaster. One and the only reason I had it installed in the first place was to use it as a feed to Merchant Centre. I've never tried to use it for the actual campaigns due to the numerous horror stories related to the rapid cleaning of account balances without any results or control over the campaigns. Once I started to seriously use the data provided by the feed I discovered that the app has been has been stripped of the customisation functions necessary to use it properly as a functioning feed. BTW If you're brave enough to run any campaigns on it, good luck since the data necessary to optimise them is not there.
Moreover, if you're trying to get any support Shopify will send you to Google and Google will send you back to Shopify, at the end of the day Shopify will say that you should get some other paid apps to get it to work.

I mean if you want an app that runs like dialup get this one. since most of you are not old enough to know what dialup is, it was the first type of internet connection and it was extremely slow. (grandmother here) Anyway this app is like dialup. I have a 1000+ products and it seriously takes me 15 minutes to get to the last product. there are no page numbers to select or filters or anything to make finding products in anyway easy. it also loads all of your draft and archived products to make it even more cumbersome. It is showing errors that don't exist in the actual merchant centre. seriously use this app if you want to add a massive amount of frustration to your life. Or if you only have 3 products.

There are not any notifications about the feed, can not sync any product. Please process the problems of the products quickly.
