Easy to install and configure. Yet to check how it will perform when setting the Marketing campaigns.

Same issues. Does not work. Google requires GTIN codes and if left empty all your products will be disapproved. I create custom products and it doesn't work.

So I have been using the original google shopping app for long time and without any issues and last few months, I was told that the app I'm using will be discontinued (maybe end of january?). Was told that the original app had too many issues so that is why they are moving to this app. But seems this app has more issues then the previous one and the reason why the first one has issues is that many shopifiers using the app does not know how to bulk edit to comply with google standards. And also talking with google, they are able to override certain errors that show up on shopify. So this clearly unfair to take away the old app for customers who know how to workaround it . I carry roughly 350k items so if it's been working for me for few years then it has to be mostly user error and not the app. I have so many items that percentage of error is higher then most , but mangaed to get it too work. So this review is basically stating to keep the old shopify app. It's quite unfair to just abandon something that was working because so many were not able to workaround the issues and just give up.

I've been using the Google Shopping channel now for a few months. I just started using the "Google Smart Shopping campaign" about 1 1/2 months ago and I've noticed a difference in sales versus if I just set it up myself through Google Ads.

The Apps works well when you have only a few hundred products. When you have thousands of products the App is useless. The "Manage Products" link only loads 50 products by default. You have to scroll down to see the rest. As you do the page loading time gets exponentially longer. It has taken me over 2 hours to reach the end of my product list only to find that when I try to edit and save, the process hangs... often with "Server Error" message in a pop-up window. It is not a browser issue as I have tried several with the same result. Please fix to download complete product list when selecting "Manage Products".

Thank you for the feedback! We have noted your feedback around the bulk editor. That portion is actually owned by Shopify but we will be sure to pass on the feedback to the relevant product teams. Your experience is not one we hoped for and apologies for that. One workaround you may find useful in the meantime is using the export/import feature available on the Shopify Product page. It would be fine if it didn't always feed the highest shipping price through to google. Mentioned this to shopify but they didn't seem concerned and told me to look for another app.

I'm glad you left a review about your experience! It's important that we hear from our merchants so we can ensure that the products we create for them actually work for them.

While the Google Shopping app does use the highest shipping price to the Google Merchant Center, you do have the option to select Manual Shipping Settings. I think this would be a good choice for you, since we don't import any shipping data at this point and you have the chance to set up your data directly in the Google Merchant Center!
