DO NOT UPDATE! Downloading this new app version and deleting our old Google Shopping app was a huge mistake. I have since had to disconnect the account and try to get our feed going another way because this app is so awful!!
Google flagged all of my handmade by myself products as misrepresented, and then failed to provide me with a solution to fix them

Some of the setup parameters are a bit - obscure - to say the least. Google is a bit slow to approve merchant center accounts on initiation, but once you get it all tweaked, it works GREAT!
very easy to setup and very great service, will advise other to open store on shopify.com , very useful
So far the process has been ok. Waiting to set up an ads account. Certain products have been rejected due to bar codes, I've attempted to fix but unclear if I am addressing properly when multiple sizes or variants exist, the 3-5day wait time on product reviews seems long especially if you want to run an add and get things moving.
This app is amazing over all I love it! The only thing that bothers me is that it’s not like Etsy witch show you everything you need to do, but I will say Shopify is much more cheaper!
I like this app, and it was easy to get started, I hope it works and I make a lot of sales.

I have given up on this App now. The GTIN error which appears on all my products now just doesn't get fixed. I have read articles, tried everything and reach out to support and was given a 'solution' which doesn't make any sense and doesn't apply to 'non-custom' products. Great, that its free! But not great that it actually doesn't work properly. I have seen so many stores asking the same questions but there is no solution.

I see that you're having an error with the GTINs, barcodes, or manufacturer part numbers associated with products on Shopify and syncing this information to the Google channel. Good to get all your products into Google's Free shopping ads, but that is where the functionality ends. There is nothing in the ap we can find having to do with set up for "Performance Max" and we are unable to customize the product feed. All products are in a single feed, so that if you want start any Google Ads you have to include all your products listed in the free shopping ads that are in the single API product feed, so there can only be one ad campaign. Unable to focus a campaign on an individual product line.

It is great to have the ability to set up Google Ads directly through the Shopify store. The interface is simpler to use than Google's Merchant Center, and Shopify's support is far better. The one downside is that the app currently only allows one type of ad to be run and tracked from within Shopify.
