This app does not approve several items and it doesn't tell you how to fix the issue. Also, items do not show up on Google Shopping.

Does not sync barcodes to the merchant center. This alone renders this app almost pointless, a shopping feed without barcodes...ALL of my barcodes are filled in on Shopify, it does not sync the field. I have tried multiple hacks and fixes to work around this, but nothing works. Thousands of people seem to have the same problem, amazed it's Shopify own developed app.
For extra credit, When you manually add them in the google merchant center, Shopify then wipes them.

Why do big and smart companies like Google end up making their products useless? They have best of the minds with them to make apps that function well with their products. And they can't even do that well. What a shame!
This app is supposed to record analytics well. Can't even do that properly.

I waited a long time to review this app hoping the bugs would be worked out and I could give a higher rating. Unfortunately, I can't. It's been a constant problem with new errors and problems every week. Now, I'm being told the problems are due to my theme. Although these new problems have just occurred. I did not have these errors in the first couple of months. The only reason I'm continuing is the app is free. I may have to give up soon.

The worst. Just use Google Merchant Center. Products stuck in pending status for months. It is useful to sync but that's about it.
Hi Mystic World Finds, firstly, thank you for sharing this feedback. I will also email you directly to see if I can help. This could have occurred if a few aspects are not present on your products, for example the product category or a unique product identifier such as a barcode (GTIN).

I can't believe Shopify hasn't addressed the issues with this app! I have over 2k+ errors for books stating GTIN/ISBN error despite having the information needed in the sku/upc field. Big let down

Having a nightmare since 14th August the majority of our products have been disapproved in the merchant centre dashboard. We haven't installed any new apps or made any changes to our store so completely confused as to why this has happened! Tried raising a case/support ticket with both Shopify and Google support teams, both pass the buck back to each. Nobody wants to take ownership and sort this mess out, its the worse customer service ever! We have now cancelled all our campaign ads until we can get some resolution. Don't know what else to say.

Impossible to synch our custom labels and other google fields since the end of december.
The guys at Shopify dev team should understand ASAP that fixing this issue with this app is a MANDATORY PRIORITY !
How could you guys ignore the STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE of Google Shopping for your customers being e-shop owners ?
It's been 3 weeks people are complaining here and all we read is "we'll get back to you sometime soon or later". SERIOUSLY ?
Your greedy top management must have fired far too many dev people !
If not solved before the end of next week, we'll switch all our shops to another platform were we might finally benefit from GA4 before the very very last day of UA support !

This app doesn't allow me to complete the set up integration with google and YouTube. There is no easy way to contact google about this issue. If I cannot finish the setup or contact google for help, what is the point in having this app as an option to add to my site on Shopify?

Everything is set up and synchronized, but not one book is ever displayed on Google. The Shopify support does not respond to any message. I recommend NOT to use the app!

I'm Cíara from Shopify support, thanks for taking the time to leave a review for us, we always appreciate hearing from our merchants.
For products to show in Google, you need to run a Smart Shopping Campaign, which takes up to 30 days to completely be synced and optimised across. We respond back to all emails, but when you send an email from the "Get Support" button, it goes from the email address under Settings > General and "Account Email". Have you checked that inbox for any responses? I'll follow up with you via email for some more information and get this sorted.
