I've been using shopify for 2 years and still not able to use the google channel. I've tried everything but my account is still suspended due to "misrepresentation". I thought this would be easily resolved but 2 years later and i have the same issue. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. This shouldn't be so stressful

I completely understand where you are coming from, the Misrepresentation suspension can be quite overwhelming. Just set up my Google Merchant account. Very easy. Excited to see it work for me. I have shopped using Google Shopping and always had a great experience.
I used the google merchant setup to have my products listed for more sales and it was very easy to use. 4 simplified steps that guided me though and it only took about 5 minutes.
