Gooten: Print on Demand

I have tried a number of print on demand Apps on Shopify and I have to say that Gooten is my favorite. The quality of the products is outstanding and the ease with which I can select a product, customize it and add it to my store makes it fabulous. I would recommend this App for anyone who is serious about adding print on demand products to their store.

Very easy to set up and add new products. There are enough product specific guidelines so that you can optimize for print quality. Very easy to add variants as well for items like posters of different sizes. Shipping prices aren't that bad for fulfillment within the US on most products.

As of now, I am really happy with Gooten! They manually review your first orders to make sure that your image file has the correct size and quality. I am currently waiting for the first samples to check if the quality is good. I think only the the mockups and the editor for canvases could be a little better organized.

I was manually placing orders through Canvas on Demand, placing a bunch of other orders through a local printshop for paper posters, and basically if I was on vacation or was out for a few days, orders wouldn't get placed because even my business partner had no idea how I was juggling all these manual tasks and keeping track of manual order confirmation emails, etc. Until I was introduced to Gooten.

Gooten solved ALL my problems. My clients place their orders, they get fulfilled automatically, and they receive shipping notifications without me having to do ANYTHING.

The setup process was easy, and we were up and running in a couple of weeks - mainly because I was experimenting with a lot of non-essential stuff.

I highly recommend Gooten to anyone who wants a hands-off approach to selling posters or canvases.

I can't recommend this app in good faith to other sellers.
Most of their items are supposed to ship within 4 business days however they often miss this deadline. This will result in your orders arriving late, which will result in upset customers and will negatively impact your business.

Gooten is not a company you should trust with your store's reputation as they will inevitably damage it. They have poor customer service that isn't proactive, doesn't take accountability and consistently makes excuses about late orders.

I've gone as far as to reach out directly to their CEO Brian Rainey and CTO/Co-founder Micah Smith about my problems but did not get any response.

I'm so glad I found Gooten! I was using Printify and had many issues with them. Creating my items in Gooten has been really straight forward. Thanks!

it's impossible to log in I looked up and down the whole page and through each option to no avail. they do not care that we need to gain access after we set up the account

Gooten was an absolute game changer for my business. We were using a well known competitor for many months but product prices were too high and customer support was not nearly as good as we needed. That's when we luckily found Gooten and overnight we double our margins on our products (apparel and art). Since then Gooten has printed over 300 items for us WITHOUT 1 issue and customer service has been outstanding!

They also have tons of unique products which makes it really easy to try different products for your niche to see what sticks.

I highly encourage any entrepreneur that is looking to partner with a manufacturer for printing/fulfillment to take a serious look at Gooten because in my opinion they are the best player out there.

The app integrates seamlessly to your website and couldn't be easier to use. I use Gooten for print on demand photography prints. The products have been great and service is quick.
