Denied printing my designs of a president even though they fall under parody/fair use

Thank you for your review. Your design was denied due to Donald Trump's likeness and image being protected under personality rights and copyright laws. This includes official presidential photos as well as other pictures of his likeness.

TLDR: Gooten’s shipping charges are outrageous, customer service is slow and unhelpful, my data was compromised, product quality is poor, and their scents are unbearable.

I was charged $67 to ship less than 2 lbs of sample orders, so while their pricing may seem competitive initially, just wait until you see the outrageous shipping charges. When I contacted their service team, I was told, “All of our fees are outlined on our website,” despite the buried info. Since it was less than 24 hours after I placed the order, I simply asked them to cancel, but they refused. Their service team is slow, offers mediocre support, expresses zero empathy, and has no urgency.

Then, four days after placing my order, I was notified that my account had been part of a data breach. I’m still trying to get details to monitor my identity, but extracting info from them is painful. The quality of the products is sub-par—the AOP hoodie I ordered looks like it was stitched together by a 3rd-grade art class, and without labeling options, it looks cheap and homemade. On top of that, their candle scents are unbearable, smelling extremely synthetic to the point of causing headaches. Would not recommend.

Biggest issue i have with them is the customer service is trash, they make it very difficult to contact them and when you finally do they say they will get back to you with 36 business hours. which they have not. which is not good if you are trying to run a business through their POD service and fix problems as they arrive. Right now im having trouble with one of the hats, it tells me the required image size for the print area, i have made the image exactly that and even tried smaller but every time i try to upload it says the image is to big even though it is well with in the guide lines. Im to far in now to switch to another POD service but i highly recommend going to any other company. Gooten is all around a nightmare. Also shipping costs are a nightmare, they charge shipping from each production site where they print the merch, which is understandable. however im currently trying to order 3 different products from two production sites. the hat shipping will cost 7.99, im also ordering a pair of socks and a fanny pack but they come from a different print location, they are charging 23 usd dollars shipping for this one. im in canada so the equals close to fifty dollars shipping for a hat, pair of socks and a fanny pack. Try convincing a customer thats a good shipping rate... like ive already said gooten is awful to deal with. FIND ANYTHING ELSE

Gooten is the most fragmented disconnected print on demand supplier / Middleman I have used. I thought since they were slightly cheaper than printful it would be worth the switch, but I have had nothing but constant headaches with them. Nothing is seamless you almost have to manually do everything and there is hardly anything online when it comes to support. Seriously don't waste your time here.

Horrible experience! I have had them for a couple of years now. I put up with technical mock-up and platform issues, misunderstandings, language barrier, slow and robotic customer service, but now they went one step further after I got upset. They pushed my design to production without approval and without solving the image issue. On top of pushing faulty products into production without prior approval (I do the approval manually once the issue is solved), they overcharged me for shipping! Their new and supposedly improved technical platform is a failure. There is no way to see a mock-up because there is no proper mock-up. There is no way to see the newly uploaded image or move it, you have to do it from a different page- the whole thing is complex and doing it blindly does not help. Each time I explained this I received the same robotic reply. I was patient, but when they push unresolved images into production without approval and overcharge me, that is unacceptable. Not only I don't recommend them, but I would say AVOID, unless you want to lose your mind and waste your time and money. They are marketing everywhere and trying to acquire new people, but they do NOT care about their customers. I hope no one else has to go through this.

I can't recommend this app in good faith to other sellers.
Most of their items are supposed to ship within 4 business days however they often miss this deadline. This will result in your orders arriving late, which will result in upset customers and will negatively impact your business.

Gooten is not a company you should trust with your store's reputation as they will inevitably damage it. They have poor customer service that isn't proactive, doesn't take accountability and consistently makes excuses about late orders.

I've gone as far as to reach out directly to their CEO Brian Rainey and CTO/Co-founder Micah Smith about my problems but did not get any response.

it's impossible to log in I looked up and down the whole page and through each option to no avail. they do not care that we need to gain access after we set up the account

Zero customer service. Try googling a number to call, try finding it on their site....You won't be able to find it. Want to submit a help ticket? Great, they will avoid responding until the problem remedied itself, ex. missing package, pending product...Don't get me wrong their prices are competitive but their customer help is less than useless. I've submitted 3 help tickets over the last 10 days, and haven't heard back from a single one. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Honestly, we liked their products and hope to continue using them but their customer service is awful. No way to contact them except email and they take days or weeks to respond and then more time to try to get the problem resolved. We have 2 open issues with them that have been ongoing for weeks and neither is resolved. One is my product was being sent to a customer missing a part. Still no resolution or communication. Very frustrating.

Don't use it if you want to have a reliable partner.
