GS1 Assistant (UPC EAN GTIN)

There is no active help center. Also, if you have 500 products, there’s no way to upload them all to the GS1 database in a single file. Furthermore, there is no integration between GS and Shopify.

We run a Shopify store with more than 20,000 SKUs and manage our own GS1 Norway company prefix. Before finding GS1 Assistant, our workflow relied heavily on manual Excel spreadsheets, GS1 imports, and countless hours of administrative work.

He took the time to understand our unique business model, where a single retro game can exist in multiple variants and conditions, each requiring its own GTIN. Not only did he answer every question thoroughly, but he also implemented support for the GS1 Norway import format specifically to help us streamline our workflow.
