have used Guidelines Product Finder for over a year and it has become an integral part of my sales funnel. From time to time, a glitch will occur with an app (perhaps 3 times in as many years) and when I reach out to the developer response is rapid and the problem is usually solved within 24 hours.
This app has been so beneficial to our customer's experience in finding the skin care products that are right for them. Mike is awesome and always delivers swift and efficient service.
Support has been very prompt and helpful. It's an easy-to-use solution with plenty of ways to customize to fit your site's experience.
We were looking for a reasonably priced app that would let us begin offering a product finder, and Guidelines fit the bill. Throughout the entire setup process, the Guidelines support team has been incredibly helpful, providing timely responses and solutions for every issue we've run into. Looking forward to seeing how the product finder performs over time!
The app started showing wrong prices(??) and I wrote again and again to support with no response. They have now later on shown me a copy of an email that they had sent to me but my 365 Microsoft solution didn't pass it on to me so thats that.
Anyways, I ended up having a coder write me a new product guide that works great and it beats the 40USD per month.

We addressed the bug that was affecting your prices right away and have switched email providers so that our emails won't be lost again.

Use this app if you get questions from your customers such as:
- which product is best for me?
- what should I choose?
- Does it come in black?
- etc...
Guidelines will let you quickly build a tag-based product flow where you ask visitors questions in steps then offer a product selection based on their replies.
Sending visitors to your catalog page or collections page is not enough if you have many products and variants.
For us, Guidelines works well by helping visitors find the best therapeutic shoe for them, based on their specific needs and our offering.

The product finder is not working as expected. It's completely broken too many design issues. All the steps share one common background image.
Designing is really a pain and it doesn't worth for money. Need fix ASAP.

It works, although I feel that the lack of customization (CSS) makes the user experience quite dull on both sides. I wish they would add an option for experienced front-end developers.
Thanks for your feedback! This is a communication and marketing miss on our part and we are sorry you had trouble customizing our app and we never gave you the proper support that you needed.
We actually spent a lot of time strategically and intentionally building our app so experienced front-end developers like yourself could have full design control and extend the entire look and feel by overriding CSS. We have many customers who have amazing looking product finders and quizzes who have fully customized the app to match their brand aesthetic.
For the old schoolers, think CSS Zen Garden. We built the application so that you can easily target and override global CSS elements for each step. We recommend front-end developers to inspect the CSS elements that they want to customize and then include custom CSS within the page where the product finder resides to override the default settings.

Very handy to help customers find the best products for them. I am experiencing some quirks, however support is very helpful.
The customer support is amazing and the app has a lot of value. It keeps on improving as well. For the purpose of guiding unsure customers and for the price it is nearly impossible to find something better.

The app has been a great addition to our site in terms of guiding consumers to product selection and purchase. The customer service provided was excellent - with the team always going above and beyond to help.
The app is really good and the support provided is top notch. It has achieved the goal we aimed to achieve. We also needed some custom code to be injected into the results page and the CEO has helped me massively and still is helping to help us try and achieve this. Very good! Cannot fault.
This is the best app for creating product selection wizards. It's easy to use, feature rich and hassle-free. Worked perfectly with our theme without any need for customization. And their team goes to great lengths to help you when you need support.
This app is great, easy to use and truly improve the customer experience when they visit my website. I've received great feedback from customers that the product finder helped them narrowed their choices. Way too expensive, lower your price
Thanks for your review. Although, a product finder and quiz may seem like a simple tool, it is a complicated app and we work extremely hard to ensure we are providing our customers the best experience possible. All of this takes time and effort.
That said, we recently released (Feb 2020) a new analytics tool that provides insights into session, views and click rate data for each product finder and quiz. This new feature helps you determine your ROI by understanding how many shoppers (unique and return) are interacting with your product finders, which answers they are clicking and which products they are being recommended. We hope this feature will provide the insights to help you drive more sales and provide a compelling shopping experience for your customers. Thanks again for your feedback.

Great app and great service! Takes a little bit to get used to its logic, but the folks at Eloquent are great about explaining the whole thing.
Could not be happier with the product AND the customer service. I had an unusual request and was responded to promptly! The staff took care of me, going out of their way to address my unique needs. The product works seamlessly, I am glad I found it!!!!

What a great app! We used it to create an office chair finder and it couldn't be easier to use. We plan on creating more product finders as we expand our product line. They have great support too. Highly recommend this one!
Great app to create inspirational boards. A must have app for fashion e-commerce sites that want to drive sales trough discovery. Mariano and Mike at Guidelines offer a great customer support. They helped me also for the design of the first fashion boards in Moooh!!
