Rocket Image Optimizer & SEO

This app started out good and then 3 weeks later it changed all of our webp photos into inflated jpeg and png photos. costing us lost time and is going to be an expensive fix. Even Shopify agreed that this app was not working properly

The app is amazing, I was so stressed about adding alt text on 3K+ images on my website. It also helped me change image names. it awesome and a must have. Its all free.

Rocket Image Optimizer ist leicht zu installieren und komprimiert Bilder, ist aber insgesamt noch verbesserungswürdig:

- ALT TEXT: Man kann einstellen, wie der ALT Text geändert werden soll. Produkt Titel, Vendor, Shop Name etc. Bei mir wurde der "Vendor" ignoriert bzw. im Alt text leer gelassen.

- FILTER: Es fehlen Filter, um zu komprimierende Bilder einzeln, je Produkt oder nach Status (Aktiv, Entwurf) selektieren zu können.

- VORSCHAU: Es fehlt eine Vorschau, wie die Änderungen aussehen werden und wie groß die voraussichtliche Kapazitätseinsparung sein wird.

- RESTORE: Es fehlt die Option "Restore all". Man kann nicht alle Bilder auf einmal auf den alten Status zurücksetzen. Entweder fragt man den Service, der dann auch schnell ein "bulk restore" auslöst oder man klickt sich selber durch alle Bilder.

- ERLÄUTERUNG: Die Erklärung, wie sich Änderungen auswirken (Alt Text, Dateinamen) und wie Restore funktioniert, sind nicht umfassend genug.

Great app for start ups. The owner is really cool. Highly recommend for anyone not wanting to spend a lot of money

This app did a great job optimizing all of my images. I have not had any problems with it yet.

Rocket Image Optimizer is fantastic! It automates image optimization and ALT text updates, saving us time and improving the websites SEO. Highly recommend!

it's a great app, very easy to use.
It would be helpful if you add the feature of "manual" adding new images to improve.

Be aware that this app WILL rename all your files. There's no way to keep your original filenames (not even an alert stating it will happen). All my 800 files were properly named to improve SEO and now it's all gone. Opened a ticket with customer support and although they replied fast, there's nothing they could done because there is no backup. All changes are irreversible and I'll have to spend days rename the files manually. So if you already have any SEO in place DO NOT install this app.

Have had great success with this app. With so many things to juggle its nice to know something as critical as SEO is being handled in an automated way.
