Rocket Image Optimizer ist leicht zu installieren und komprimiert Bilder, ist aber insgesamt noch verbesserungswürdig:
- ALT TEXT: Man kann einstellen, wie der ALT Text geändert werden soll. Produkt Titel, Vendor, Shop Name etc. Bei mir wurde der "Vendor" ignoriert bzw. im Alt text leer gelassen.
- FILTER: Es fehlen Filter, um zu komprimierende Bilder einzeln, je Produkt oder nach Status (Aktiv, Entwurf) selektieren zu können.
- VORSCHAU: Es fehlt eine Vorschau, wie die Änderungen aussehen werden und wie groß die voraussichtliche Kapazitätseinsparung sein wird.
- RESTORE: Es fehlt die Option "Restore all". Man kann nicht alle Bilder auf einmal auf den alten Status zurücksetzen. Entweder fragt man den Service, der dann auch schnell ein "bulk restore" auslöst oder man klickt sich selber durch alle Bilder.
- ERLÄUTERUNG: Die Erklärung, wie sich Änderungen auswirken (Alt Text, Dateinamen) und wie Restore funktioniert, sind nicht umfassend genug.
Fast and easy enough, image optimization was decent and shaved 5% off, used to seeing more optimization but maybe I'm better at it now! LOL. The all tags is a killer feature and really easy to overlook, one big improvement would be the ability to add your own SEO like tags. which MIGHT be there but the way it lists them its not clear!! thanks for making a good app
Thank you for the review and for being an early adopter of this app. It looks like most of the images on your store were already optimized, so the gain was minimum. Since this app automatically optimizes any new images added to the store, you don't have to spend time manually resizing them going forward :)
