The best $36 I ever spent. My website was full of un-optimized images that were dragging the load time down and hurting my google rating, not to mention the bounce rates I had from impatient customers! I have around 2,500 images on my site. Navigation is running much quicker than before and I've saved over 40mb with optimisation. Recommend for anyone with a large volume of images. Thanks guys!!

Update 10/09/17: Updating my review from one star to four. Developer emailed after I posted my review and said my support request went into his spam folder and he didn't see it, explaining why he never responded. Offered to re-optimize the original images free of charge. I appreciate his effort to make things right.

App worked fine, until I was having an issue with a few images and used the restore function to see if that made a difference. Turned out that after restoring all of my images and figuring out that wasn't the problem, there was no way to re-optimize those pics. I sent a support request asking if there was a way to do this, and no response after a week. They did, however, manage to send a request for a review during this time. I deleted this app and installed a different (and free) app that does the same thing but that allows you to optimize and restore the same pictures as many times as you want without issue.

This application removed all of our images from Shopify store from all of the variations. If you want to spend time on re uploading your images back to Shopify then this is perfect application for you.

Would NOT recommend it!

We are sorry to hear you had these troubles! However, we do not agree with this allegation and we are certain that our application did not remove your images. We take this type of feedback very seriously. Our engineers thoroughly analyzed our system and the logs for your account and couldn’t find any problems on our end.

We completely understand your frustration and offered our help to identify the actual cause of the problem. We have a reputation for responsiveness and our desire to help, even if the problem lies somewhere else. If you had accepted our offer to help, we could have contacted the Shopify Tier 2 Support and asked them to check the Shopify logs for your store. This could have helped to determine the actual problem.

Since images are one of the most important assets of your store, our application backups original images before making any changes. You could have easily restored the whole set of images with a press of a button.

We are sorry that you didn’t give us the opportunity to help you identify the actual cause of the problem. We encourage our customers to get in touch with us directly if they have any questions or problems.
